Appearing on Vlad TV, Beanie Sigel spoke about Kanye’s controversies and then moved on to an easy remedy for his issues.

“Kanye needs somebody around him that’s gonna tell him, ‘Shut the fuck up.’ Like, ‘Chill out, bro,’ and he gotta be able to accept that. He needs somebody that don’t care about his money.”

The above line comes from music and fashion mogul Kanye West’s “Facts” track from his The Life Of Pablo LP, which was actually released in 2016. West landed a new deal with Adidas for his Yeezy brand, but the original sneaker was released by Nike seven years prior.

Four years later, West switched brands, With his Yeezy sneaker gaining the lion’s share of its popularity under the Adidas umbrella. Despite the long-promised line of Kanye-Nike collaborative products like the Air Yeezy II Red Octobers, Kanye severed ties with the company after producing just two shoes in five years. 

“I said, ‘Well I need royalties.’ It’s not even like I have a joint venture. At least give me some royalties. Michael Jordan has 5 percent and that business is $2 billion. He makes a $100 million dollars a year off of 5 percent royalties,” West said. “Nike told me, ‘We can’t give you royalties because you’re not a professional athlete.’ I told them, ‘I go to the Garden and play one-on-no one. I’m a performance athlete.'”

Unable to compromise, Yeezus jumped ship and headed over to a competitor, Adidas. “The old me, without a daughter, would have taken the Nike deal because I just love Nikes so much,” Kanye said in his Angie Martinez Hot97 interview. “But the new me, with a daughter, takes the Adidas deal because I have royalties and I have to provide for my family.”

According to a TikTok star Mufasa, if you hang out with Kanye—he just might not let you go home.

The TikTok sensation spoke with Daily Star and revealed that Kanye West flew him out to his infamous ranch.

The online star, who rose to fame with the “car dance” admitted that he “hung out with West a few times” and the hitmaker “didn’t want him to leave”

The TikTok star said: “Yeah, some celebs have reached out [to me]. One celebrity I got to hang out with was Kanye. He flew me out for a week to his ranch, we got to hang out and chat about many things.”

Mufasa continued: “He didn’t want me to leave but I had to fly out. It was my birthday weekend so I wanted to celebrate with my family and my team. We hung out a few times after that.”

The star – real name Jeff Obeng – then went on to explain what meeting the rap icon was like and how Kanye spends his day-to-day life.

Obeng revealed: “We talked about everything but it wasn’t really what he said that put a battery in my back. It was more of what he was doing – one moment he would make clothes, then an hour later he made music and then he would have a board meeting all in the same space.”

When asked what Kanye himself was like, Mufasa simply said that “Kanye was Kanye” and praised his inspirational work ethic.

He gushed: “Kanye was very driven and it’s like you can’t tell him nothing. If he says he’s going to achieve something, he will get it done – one way or another.”

The viral star also admitted that he’s had “quite a handful of celebrities” reach out to him but in terms of music, he’s still waiting for the right collaboration to come about.

Obeng explained: “They ask me to do videos for them or with them all the time, but I’m trying to evolve from just doing skits. I’m doing different things now. I don’t want to be 80 years old dancing outside of a car!”

Mufasa’s new single “World Needs Love” is out now and the star hopes that his “good energy only” vibes will “bring the fun back into house music”.

In the video, Kanye can be heard saying, “Y’all ain’t gonna run up on me like that. If I say stop”…”stop with your cameras.”

Known for his numerous run-ins with paparazzi that sometimes turn physical for Ye, this incident is just another win for Kanye’s fight for privacy as a celebrity. Last year, he avoided another battery charge after he was accused of punching a photographer, leaving him on the ground unconscious. Yeezy even joked about the confrontation on Jimmy Kimmel, saying, “that covid mask couldn’t stop that right hook.”

A couple of months ago, a video circulated of an irate Kanye West reaching into a woman’s car, grabbing her phone, then throwing it. It was announced yesterday that Ye would not be facing any charges for the incident.

According to Ventura County District Attorney’s Office documents obtained by TMZ on Wednesday, March 15, the woman’s phone only suffered minor damage, and the only thing that was affected was the $30 case on the phone. The woman also failed to press charges against Kanye.

When the incident occurred, Kanye believed the woman to be a paparazzi that was following him from his daughter North’s basketball game. However, it was never confirmed whether she was a hired paparazzi.

A bystander caught the confrontation on camera as well, where you can hear Ye saying to the woman, “you didn’t have to run up on me like that.” The woman responded, “I wasn’t running. I wasn’t running – but Kanye you’re a celebrity. Ye then told the lady, “If I say stop, stop with your cameras!” Ye then grabbed the woman’s phone and tossed it

Only a few weeks after the phone incident, Kanye was seen going into the West Hollywood Sherriff’s Department, where he reportedly asked them to take care of the paparazzi following him.

The A Written Testimony rapper went on a rant asking fellow musicians if they believed in God, expressing his admiration for Louis Farrakhan, and even voiced his support for Kanye West. Throughout his Twitter rant, Jay Electronica made numerous references to the “Synogauge Of Satan,” an anti-semitic phrase used to liken Jewish people to Satan. Electronica then to took time in his rant to address his anti-semitic allegations, even saying that hating on his is antisemitic because his grandmother was Semitic. “PS, if you hate on me, tha’s antisemitic. Word to my Semitic grandmother,” he tweeted.

Born on this date in 1974 in the City of Brotherly Love, Dwight Grant, aka Beanie Sigel, aka Beans, morphed into an icon in the Philly Hip Hop scene as the leader of the now-defunct Roc-A-Fella Records’ State Property. Even with all of his legal troubles and the untimely split of the Roc, Beanie is still regarded as one of the best emcees of his era and one of the very few who live what he speaks in the booth.

With six solo albums, three State Property collabos, and four silver-screen blockbuster appearances, it’s difficult to argue that Beans has not had a successful career. Anyone who could hold Hova’s attention for more than one album has some evident skills to match his street bravado.

Rumors are circulating around the internet and social media that Adidas has struck a new partnership with Kanye West, just months after he was dropped by the brand for his anti-semitic comments.

Rumors of the new partnership come after reports that Adidas could lose up to $1.3 billion dollars in unsold Yeezy sneakers. According to some reports, it will cost Adidas millions to rebrand the shoes and some reports even said that they would still have to pay Kanye a royalty if they were to rebrand the shoe and sell it.

One sneaker YouTuber, Roszko, even made a video confirming that Ye and Adidas are back in business together. He says in the video that the partnership is solely to sell off the remaining Yeezy inventory and that no new designs will be produced.

While Ye seems unbothered by being dropped from Adidas, these rumors have not been confirmed by Adidas or Kanye himself. At the time, however, Ye seems unbothered by not being in partnership with Adidas. He has adopted a mere hermit lifestyle ever since his “cancellation” and even got remarried.

As for Adidas, having Kanye back on the team would surely help, as the company continues to deal with the financial fallout from its split with West. Newly appointed Adidas CEO Bjørn Gulden said in a recent press release that the company is not performing how it should and needs to use 2023 to “make Adidas shine again.”

“The numbers speak for themselves. We are currently not performing the way we should. 2023 will be a year of transition to set the base to again be a growing and profitable company. We need to put the pieces back together again, but I am convinced that over time we will make Adidas shine again. But we need some time.”

Kanye West has had enough of the paparazzi. Instead of being engaged in altercations that could cause an issue for him, Ye is going to the police.

TMZ spotted Ye headed into the L.A. County Sherriff’s West Hollywood Station on Tuesday, letting the officers know that he got into an altercation with members of the paparazzi.

Ye reportedly asked members of the paparazzi to stop filming him and his family on Tuesday, with the interaction nearly becoming physical. Instead, Ye went to the police. Now, an investigation is underway into the incident.

In January, Kanye West got in trouble with the law after a video surfaced of him grabbing a woman’s cellphone. The Ventura County Sheriff’s office confirmed that Ye is under investigation for alleged battery after a video surfaced of the artist taking the woman’s phone as she photographed him from inside her car and then throwing it into the street.

According to the Ventura County Star, Ventura County Sheriff’s deputies responded to an alleged battery incident involving celebrity Kanye West near the Sports Academy on Rancho Conejo Boulevard in Newbury Park late Friday afternoon, officials said. The incident was reported around 4:37 p.m. after a reported altercation between West and a woman, said sheriff’s Capt. William Hutton. Hutton said that no arrests have yet been made, but it is an ongoing active investigation.

In the video, Kanye can be heard saying something to the effect of “Y’all ain’t gonna run up on me like that. If I say stop”…”stop with your cameras.”

The woman says she was not running and responds by saying, “Kanye, you’re a celebrity.”

Ye then took the phone from her hands and threw it into the street before returning to his SUV and driving off before law enforcement arrived on the scene.

No arrests have been formally made as of Sunday afternoon.

Shortly after Rihanna took the stage for the Super Bowl LVII halftime show, Timbaland shared with his fans what he thinks a Kanye West SB halftime show would be like. While this certainly isn’t happening anytime soon, Timb said people wouldn’t be ready for the spectacle Kanye would bring.

Timb shared his thoughts on Instagram on Tuesday, Feb 14. In the video, he said that Ye performing at the Super Bowl could be equivalent to Motown 25, the televised 25th-anniversary celebration special of Motown Records, which featured artists such as Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Diana Ross, The Temptations, and where Michael Jackson debuted the moonwalk during his performance of Billie Jean.

“Yo, I was thinking, if Kanye was to do the Super Bowl, that almost would be like watching Motown 25 ’cause that boy is serious. Don’t you ever forget it,” Timb said. “Dat boy Ye doing the Super Bowl they wouldn’t be ready,” he captioned the post.

While some in the comments agreed that Kanye would probably have the greatest performance next to Prince, others said that having Ye on stage live for the whole county to see would be a safety hazard, given his history of saying ridiculous and controversial things.

Despite his cancellation, Rihanna performed a few songs which feature Kanye, including Jay-Z’s “Run This Town” and “Diamonds,” which feature Ye on the official remix. She also performed “Bitch Better Have My Money,” which was co-produced with Kanye, and “All Of The Lights,” which is a Kanye song featured on My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. Many fans on the internet even likened some of her stage designs and outfits to that of Kanye.

The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) recently reported that Kanye’s anti-Semitic rants were linked to 30 incidents in the US targeting Jewish people.

“These incidents — which include vandalism, banner drops, targeted harassment, and campus propaganda distributions — demonstrate the ongoing influence of Ye’s conspiratorial, bigoted rants,” the ADL wrote.

“Immediately following Ye’s antisemitic comments, which included inflammatory tropes about Jewish power and Holocaust denial, the slogan ‘Ye Is Right’ surfaced online in hashtags and antisemitic accounts. The ADL Center on Extremism has also tracked references to ‘Ye Is Right’ in instances of on-the-ground antisemitic vandalism and harassment nationwide.”

Jonathan Greenblatt, the CEO of the ADL, said in a statement to Billboard that Ye is inspiring people to commit “real-world acts of hate.”

“Kanye West’s repeated antisemitic remarks – and his dredging up some of the worst anti-Jewish tropes imaginable – doubtlessly are having an impact and inspiring people to commit real-world acts of hate,” Greenblatt stated. “As we have long maintained, celebrities and others who engage in spreading hateful tropes need to know their words have consequences. Unfortunately, Kanye’s decision to continue to peddle hatred against Jews is only giving encouragement to people who are already infected with hate.”

The ADL’s report also stated that anti-Semetic remarks have gone up on Twitter following Elon Musk’s takeover of the social media company. The lessened restrictions allowed for the creation of the “Ye Is Right” slogan which has been used over 9,400 times on the platform.

The Baton Rouge rapper recently made an appearance on the Get Yo Ass Up podcast where he presented a theory about Kanye West maybe being Jesus Christ reincarnated. Of the reasons he thinks Ye might be Jesus, Boosie said that Kanye once called himself Yeezus, the Yeezy slides look like Jesus sandals, and he was talking about how “the Jews felt.”

“I think Kanye thought he was Jesus, he named his name Yeezus, his clothes looked like Jesus when he got stabbed on ’em, his slippers look like Jesus sandals, I think he thought he was Jesus,” Boosie said. “I think he thought he was Jesus. He was talking about how he felt the ‘Jews was,’ he’s deliberately dogging Blacks.’”

He even said that Kanye resembled Jesus when he was letting is beard grow out earlier last year. “When you see him his hair is growing on his face looking like this like damn Jesus. Scrapes on his clothes, look at his slippers… It might be true, I might be wrong! But it sure look like it to me.”

Boosie’s theory is the opposite of D.L. Hughley, who likened Ye to Lucifer.

“I really fault a lot of these people who are taking advantage,” D.L. began. “Well, I can’t say they’re taking advantage.” He then questioned why Ye’s team would allow him to jump from show to show knowing that he is going to make outlandish and controversial statements.

“I think that—biblically, Lucifer was a cherub. He was—his name means Morning Star. Lucifer was beautiful and he was God’s minister of music. He was exalted, and he was perfect. And Lucifer had seen God. He knew that he was created by him. But Lucifer was so charismatic and so talented, he talked other angels in trying to bum rush heaven.”

“If talent and charisma is so mesmerizing, so intoxicating, it can make angels rise up against God it can make us alter our understanding of things. We’ll start to believe things. That is the most dangerous thing about what’s going on here,” Hughley added. “It says a lot that a man who loves Hitler and Trump. It says a lot that you love those two people. And it says even more that people are contorting themselves to make that make sense.”

Speaking on The Art of Dialogue, Consequence examined the moment.

“When he [J. Cole] was trying to get on, it wasn’t no ‘False Prophets’ then,” Consequence said. “It was how do I get to the profit margin?”

He added, “I could’ve signed J. Cole but we was transitioning from out of Sony. J. Cole used to go to St. John’s. Myself, B. Dot from Rap Radar, we all went to the same barber shop.”

In the aforementioned Pusha T statement, Consequence heard the It’s Almost Dry rapper’s reason for distancing himself from Kanye West, and he isn’t feeling it. In fact, he stated he is disgusted with King Push

Pusha T‘s time as the President and a member of G.O.O.D. Music is over. Speaking with XXL, King Push revealed that he decided to distance himself from Ye following his anti-semitic rants and remarks.

“If you ain’t with it, you ain’t down. And I ain’t with it. I’m not budging on that. I’m not with it. I heard about this new stuff [on InfoWars]. I don’t know. It’s something that just sort of tells me he’s not well, at the same time. I will say that. It’s going to places where it’s no way to move around it.”

Pusha T stated he hasn’t spoken to Ye recently, citing that their last conversation was when he was on tour.

“I just expressed myself. I express myself to him a lot. He expressed his thoughts to me. And he got off the phone saying, ‘Thank you. I know you don’t agree with me, but you never kill me in the public. And some people can’t wait to do that.'”

During a visit to The Art of Dialogue podcast, Consequence says you should never abandon family.

“Family is a word that gets thrown around a lot, loosely,” Consequence begins in a clip exclusively obtained by AllHipHop. “And I could actually say that Kanye is my family, right. We not blood relatives, but that’s my family. We’ve done more things and have had more interactions mutually than we have with our own family. When I see something like that, I’m conflicted. I’m disgusted because of a multitude of reasons. And they aren’t all directed at Pusha T.”

Last night, Ye was spotted leaving the restaurant Beauty & Essex in Los Angeles with his new wife, Bianca Censori. The restaurant is described as “a sophisticated, jewel-toned eatery with vintage decor offering New American plates, drinks & wine,” located right in the heart of Hollywood.

The G.O.O.D. Music founder was seen rocking a balaclava or ski mask, a cloth headgear that exposes only part of the face. In this case, only Kanye’s eyes were visible as he seemingly tried to go incognito while enjoying date night with his new partner.

TMZ reports that the two remained relatively quiet and low-key as they got into their vehicle, which may come as a surprise given West’s antics last week. A woman was recording Kanye West, who approached her in the car and asked her to stop recording. You see him grabbing her phone and flinging it into the air before it lands on the ground.

The woman even exclaimed, “You’re a celebrity!” But clearly, West was fed up by that point. He is now the named suspect in a battery investigation. 

Thankfully, things seem calm now with Ye and his newlywed, who was Kanye’s former Yeezy designer. The two were recently spotted shopping at Balenciaga in Beverly Hills and tied the knot during a secret wedding ceremony.

Jamaican rapper Shenseea still seems to be a fan of Ye.  Despite the headlines he’s made the past year, Shenseea wants to work with the legendary rapper/producer again. 

The duo worked with each other in 2021 on Donda, where Shenseea was featured on the songs, “OK OK” (Pt.2) and “Pure Souls” with Roddy Ricch.  These features led to her receiving a Grammy nomination as well as her first two songs on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.  “OK OK” (Pt. 2) reached the number 12 spot while “Pure Souls” came in at number 52.

Recently, the “Can’t Anymore” rapper did a “#AskShenseea” segment on Twitter, and one fan asked her about her experience working with The Life of Pablo artist.  She replied:

“I love him, such a mastermind and inspiration. Yes we’ll do something again, God’s willing.”

That’s not the first time she has said positive things about Ye.  Last year, in an interview with the L.A. Leakers, Shenseea mentions that the 45-year-old is an inspiration.

“I love Kanye.  Seeing him on social media and being around him is totally different.  He’s a true living inspiration.”

She also added that he showed her love and made her feel like family.  Ye noticed Shenseea after he heard her “Crocodile Teeth” freestyle in 2021 on HOT 97 with Funk Flex.  Also, on Twitter, the Alpha artist assured fans that more music is coming this year.

Last year, her debut album, Alpha, landed the number two spot on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart.  Alpha is the highest-selling reggae album in the first week of 2020.

The backlash Kanye got from the incident was overwhelming, causing Ye to go into isolation for over a year while he crafted what he called his “apology” album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. While most people look back and laugh and even agree with Ye, it looked like Ye’s career might’ve never recovered at the time. According to Consequence, Ye even thought his career was over after the incident.

In an interview with HipHopDX, Consequence shared some insight into Kanye’s mindset after the incident and thought that his actions cost him his career after “Power” failed to garner the same attention as other singles like “Gold Digger,” “Can’t Tell Me Nothing,” and “Stronger.”

“To be 100 percent honest, ‘Power’ is ‘Power’ now, but that was the first record off that cycle, and ‘Power’ was kinda the first time it didn’t go all the way,” Cons said. “It didn’t do what ‘Gold Digger’ did, it didn’t do what ‘Can’t Tell Me Nothing’ did, and it didn’t do what ‘Stronger’ did.

“So it was kinda like, ‘What we gonna do?’ We ain’t got no out-the-gates smash. We got a single and they playing it, but it wasn’t that one. That’s how G.O.O.D. Fridays come about.”

He added that this situation made Kanye change his rollout strategy and ended up creating G.O.O.D. Fridays, where he would release a new song every Friday until MBDTF released.

“It doesn’t eradicate the Taylor Swift incident. It’s not big enough to K.O. that. Brands ain’t gonna forget that, touring ain’t gonna forget that, so forth and so on. So which put Kanye in a corner, and he came out flying with G.O.O.D. Fridays.”

Kanye West is in trouble with the law after a video surfaced of him grabbing a woman’s cellphone. The Ventura County Sheriff’s office confirmed that Ye is under investigation for alleged battery after a video surfaced of the the artist taking the woman’s phone as she photographed him from inside her car and then throwing it into the street.

According to the Ventura County Star, Ventura County Sheriff’s deputies responded to an alleged battery incident involving celebrity Kanye West near the Sports Academy on Rancho Conejo Boulevard in Newbury Park late Friday afternoon, officials said. The incident was reported around 4:37 p.m. after a reported altercation between West and a woman, said sheriff’s Capt. William Hutton. Hutton said that no arrests have yet been made, but it is an ongoing active investigation.

In the video, Kanye can be heard saying something to the effect of “Y’all ain’t gonna run up on me like that. If I say stop”…”stop with your cameras.”

The woman says she was not running and responds by saying, “Kanye, you’re a celebrity.”

Ye then took the phone from her hands and threw it into the street before returning to his SUV and driving off before law enforcement arrived on the scene.

No arrests have been formally made as of Sunday afternoon.

Sheek Louch is rolling with Pusha T when it comes to keeping his association with Kanye West amid his antisemitic rants.

Earlier this week, Consequence spoke out against King Push, stating he was wrong for distancing himself from Ye.

Speaking with XXL, King Push revealed that he decided to distance himself from Ye following his anti-semitic rants and remarks.

“If you ain’t with it, you ain’t down. And I ain’t with it. I’m not budging on that. I’m not with it. I heard about this new stuff [on InfoWars]. I don’t know. It’s something that just sort of tells me he’s not well, at the same time. I will say that. It’s going to places where it’s no way to move around it.”

During a visit to The Art of Dialogue podcast, Consequence says you should never abandon family.

“Family is a word that gets thrown around a lot, loosely,” Consequence begins in a clip exclusively obtained by AllHipHop. “And I could actually say that Kanye is my family, right. We not blood relatives, but that’s my family. We’ve done more things and have had more interactions mutually than we have with our own family. When I see something like that, I’m conflicted. I’m disgusted because of a multitude of reasons. And they aren’t all directed at Pusha T.”

Enter Sheek Louch, who made a visit to DJ Vlad, and agrees with Pusha T’s decision.

“Shout out to Pusha. I never thought what he thought of everything,” Louch said. “You don’t have to hate him, but dog, I can’t stand for the shit you talking about right now. That’s good that he is making that stance.”

Pusha T has now fired shots back at former G.O.O.D. Music artist/ghostwriter Consequence with a biblical parable in response to his “disgust” with Pusha”s departure from the label.

Push posted on his IG story, Chp. 1 Corinthians Verse 7, quoting, “suffer yourselves to be defrauded.”

The biblical references maybe due to the reuniting of Clipse, which will bring Pusga back together with his twin brother No Malice, who has turned his life around and become a devout Christian soon after the arrest and conviction of the Clipse former manager Anthony “Geezy” Gonzalez.

Pusha reportedly backed away from the G.O.O.D. Music imprint because of Ye’s perceived anti-Semitic remarks, which Consequence says is all cap.

Cons also blamed Push for bringing tensions with Drake into Good Music, revealing he’s actually been to Drake’s crib but never stepped foot inside Push’s house.

Julia Fox, the most recent ex-gf of Kanye West, went viral after giving a tour of her small, one bedroom apartment in Manhattan that she shares with her infant son. Fox admitted that her virtual tour may her roasted online, but decided to show people who maybe complaining about their circumstances that their life isn’t as bad as they think.

“I never thought in a million years that I would do this, but I do believe in maximum transparency and so I am going to give you guys an apartment tour,” Fox began. “I know I am going to get roasted and whatever, but hopefully maybe somebody can watch this and be like ‘maybe I’m not doing so bad.'”

Fox’s post ended with talking about her evident mice infestation that she doesn’t really plan on dealing with.

On this date in 2005, Compton emcee The Game released his debut album, The Documentary, on Aftermath/G-Unit/Interscope records.

The Game was the first G-Unit representative from outside of NYC to be a part of the then-dominating roster consisting of Tony Yayo, Lloyd Banks, and its general, 50 Cent. The album was initially called “Nigga Witta Attitude Vol.1,” but Eazy-E’s wife, Tomica Woods-Wright, legally blocked that N.W.A. title reference from being used.

The album received commercial and critical success, reaching gold status in its first week and 2X platinum within the first two months. The singles that received the most acclaim were 50 Cent-assisted, which many felt was the primary reason for the project’s success. “Hate It Or Love It,” “Westside Story,” and This Is How We Do” allowed The Game to see the same degree of fame as his Queens boss but left many critics to wonder if this feat was capable with no guest appearances. The album’s production was a Hip-Hop producers’ Hall of Fame, with the likes of Kanye West. Scott Storch, Just Blaze, Timbaland, and Dr. Dre are behind the boards. These fundamental elements make The Documentary The Game’s most notable and successful album to date.

Over the past few years, the Mount Rushmore of hip-hop conversation has loomed on. While the talk might not be as popular as it was just a couple of years ago, many people and media outlets are still putting them out and spurring controversy. Yesterday, January 17, hip-hop Twitter page Raphousetv shared their Mount Rushmore of Chicago rap.

Raphousetv’s Mount Rushmore included G Herbo, Lil Durk, King Von, and Chief Keef, leaving out older Chicago rappers like Kanye, Twista, Common, and Lupe Fiasco.

After the post was tweeted, it sparked a lot of debate and controversy, especially over the exclusion of Kanye. Many said that there needs to be a Mount Rushmore for the older generation of rappers and the newer generation.

During a 2021 interview, G Herbo was asked about his top 4 Chicago rappers during the height of the rap Mount Rushmore conversation. Herbo said that his top 4 from Chicago included Chief Keef, Lil Durk, Juice WRLD, Polo G & himself. After being called out for not having any older Chicago artists, he said there needed to be two lists, one for the newer artists and one for the older ones.

Kanye West is facing a new lawsuit after he sampled a song for one of his DONDA 2 singles without permission. Ye dropped “Flowers,” but according to The Blast, he did not get the proper approval from Trax Records.

In the lawsuit, the song used is called “Move Your Body” by Marshall Jefferson. The single is also referred to as “The House Music Anthem.” The “Flowers” song was an ode to Kim Kardashian.

Not only did Ye not get approval, but the suit also states he “unauthorized sample taken by West is repeated at least 22 times” throughout the single.

Kanye West has been sidestepping a number of people. One of those is his legal team, which wanted to serve Ye with a letter severing their ties. According to AllHipHop, the Greenberg Traurig Law Firm gave up attempting to find Ye, instead opting to use Los Angeles newspapers to announce his dismissal as a client.

The firm called its latest effort a “multi-prong approach” in its efforts to discontinue business.

“Publication of the Withdrawal Order’s contents in two Los Angeles-area newspapers, where Ye appears to reside, will also apprise him of the Withdrawal Order,” the firm wrote in legal documents. “Given Ye’s public status, publication of the Withdrawal Order will likely garner significant media attention, resulting in broader publication and provide an even greater likelihood of apprising Ye of the Order.”

The forthcoming ads follow concerns that the rapper was missing. Kanye West was said to be missing after his lawyers couldn’t reach him to inform him that he was dropped as a client. The law firm dropped the rapper after his antisemitic rants.

West went gone about a month ago. In court, his former business manager, who is suing him for $4.5 million, stated that he hasn’t communicated to Ye in weeks.

Surprisingly, Ye allegedly did not spend the Christmas holidays with his four children: 9-year-old daughter North, 7-year-old son Saint, 4-year-old daughter Chicago, and 3-year-old son Psalm.

Friends say he would never miss the holidays with his children, whom he adores.

It seems like many more are joining the bandwagon in following Gunna on social media. Over the weekend, observant fans noticed Meek Mill had unfollowed Gunna on Instagram, shortly after they discovered Lil Baby had unfollowed him as well.

This all stems from the backlash that erupted after Gunna took an Alford plea deal in court, which meant formally admitting his guilt while simultaneously preserving his innocence. Gunna was released from jail on December 14th of last year, after the Atlanta rapper pleaded guilty to a single charge in his RICO case. 

With Young Thug still behind bars, a video surfaced online of Gunna stating YSL is in fact a gang. This statement certainly does not help Thug’s current predicament, as prosecutors pinpoint him to be the leader of the gang.

What’s interesting is Meek Mill had Gunna’s back when the YSL crew had gotten arrested, even dedicated a whole tweet stating “Free Gunna ASAP.” Given the Philadelphia’s rapper own experiences with the system, he even wrote that “everybody deserves a bail.”

With Gunna’s actions under high surveillance, his first post on Instagram since his release certainly didn’t help the situation. Posting a photo of himself in what appears to be his living room, Gunna writes in the caption: “N*ggas acting like they switching to a side But it’s only one side . #YsltheLabel #FreeThug&Yak GUNNA BACC!!!!!”

If that’s not enough, Lil Durk recently posted a video snippet of an unreleased song, leaving fans concluding that the Chicago rapper takes a subliminal shot at Gunna. 

Lil Durk raps in the clip: “What happened to Virgil he probably gon’ tell, I let him go because Timo ain’t selling. Thank 7 and Booka, I’m bragging on Melvin. When lil boo and them mad, it ain’t nothing you can tell them. I can tell you what I did for the streets. You got the paperwork, did it and reached. I got on Clubhouse and got in the beef.”

Lil Durk and Gunna previously collaborated on a song called ”What Happened to Virgil,” released in 2022. Durk’s lyrics also allude to the fact that Gunna may be a snitch, and that he may have told on others in the YSL RICO indictment. 

The most surprising unfollow comes from Lil Baby, mostly because the two have collaborated on endless hit records and even created a whole mixtape together (Drip Harder released in 2018). Aside from cutting social media ties, Young Thug’s sister and brother seemingly did not support Gunna’s Instagram post either.

While the judge ultimately sentenced Gunna to five years with time served, the remaining time was suspended. Gunna’s current deal plea includes serving 500 hours of community service.

Allegedly, the two had agreed on a professional relationship dating back to March 2022, where St. John would be placed on a monthly retainer of $300,000 to be West’s business manager and Chief Marketing Officer of his Donda brand. This ended when an “aggressive meeting” transpired, in which St. John claims West stopped responding to his texts overall. St. John is currently seeing $4.5 million in damages.

On a positive note, West’s nine-year-old daughter North West has been killing the game on TikTok, even going viral last week after she dressed up as her father. Seen alongside her mother, Kim Kardashian, North West is seen with a beanie, bushy eyebrows, and beard, posting a clip to “Bound 2” while reenacting the song’s official music video.

According to sources close to TMZ, the mystery blonde woman is Bianca Censori, the head of architecture for Yeezy. Censori and Kanye reportedly got married in a private ceremony, even though it doesn’t look like they’ve filed a wedding certificate to make it official.

Ye and Censori were spotted at the Waldorf Astoria in Beverly Hills earlier this week where they caught pictures of Ye with a ring on his finger.

Last month, Ye dropped a song on Instagram called “Censori Overload” where he rapped about his current state and his finalized divorce from Kim Kardashian. The song was taken down by Instagram and his account was suspended due to hate speech most likely due to the use of a sound bite from the Alex Jones alt-right show Infowars and his reference to his “death com 3” tweet that began his spiral downward.

The streets have found Kanye West. After setting off alarms across social media about his whereabouts, Ye is somewhere that isn’t wild at all, church.

There was only one image of Ye from the chapel but it provides hope that the rapper is doing well.

Previous reports state Kanye West is ducking and dodging legal documents. The rapper and businessman, who now goes by Ye, is reportedly attempting to sidestep Thomas St. John and his legal team, who are looking to serve him documents.

AllHipHop notes St. John is suing Ye for breach of contract but has been unable to locate the rapper for weeks to serve him. St. John says Ye has stopped paying a monthly retainer fee after a meeting went left, or as he notes, “aggressive.”

St. John was operating as the Chief Financial Officer of DONDA and was to be paid $300,000 monthly.

“[St. John] needed a guarantee that [West] wouldn’t abruptly abandon the commercial relationship, in addition to the financial costs and hazards associated with committing to [West] as client. But Mr. St. John offered to settle for a contract lasting at least 18 months,” the lawsuit states.

Despite his silence, that has not kept him from being a point of conversation for many people. In a recent interview with DJ Vlad, comedian D.L. Hughley compared Ye and the “fallen angel,” Lucifer.

“I really fault a lot of these people who are taking advantage,” D.L. began. “Well, I can’t say they’re taking advantage.” He then questioned why Ye’s team would allow him to jump from show to show knowing that he is going to make outlandish and controversial statements.

Vlad then brought up West’s conspiracy theory about his mother, Donda West, Michael Jordan’s father, and Bill Cosby’s son all being sacrificed. Vlad said that he did some research into Donda West’s death and that it was far from a sacrifice.

Hughley then compared West to Lucifer, saying that the two share similarities.

“I think that—biblically, Lucifer was a cherub. He was—his name means Morning Star. Lucifer was beautiful and he was God’s minister of music. He was exalted, and he was perfect. And Lucifer had seen God. He knew that he was created by him. But Lucifer was so charismatic and so talented, he talked other angels in trying to bum rush heaven.”

“If talent and charisma is so mesmerizing, so intoxicating, it can make angels rise up against God it can make us alter our understanding of things. We’ll start to believe things. That is the most dangerous thing about what’s going on here,” Hughley added. “It says a lot that a man who loves Hitler and Trump. It says a lot that you love those two people. And it says even more that people are contorting themselves to make that make sense.”

According to DJ Ebenezer Donkoh, Ye is supposed to make an appearance at the festival taking place in Ghana’s capital, Accra, alongside the festival organizers: Vic Mensa and Chance The Rapper.

“I’m gathering info that Kanye West will be the surprise act at the Black Star Line Festival in Ghana this weekend,” DJ Ebenezer Donkoh tweeted yesterday.

The festival is set to take place today, January 6th. Other artists set to perform at the Black Star Line Festival include T-Pain, Chance The Rapper, Vic Mensa, Erykah Badu, Jeremih, Tobe Nwigwe and others.

Ahead of announcing the festival, earlier this week Vic Mensa vowed to bring clean water to over 200,000 Ghanaians.

Julia Fox is reflecting on her relationship with Kanye West. Appearing on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Fox spoke about their whirlwind relationship.

“We were literally together for like a minute,” Fox said. “I don’t think he even knows my full name or anything.”

Fox would even dig into their bedroom life and state, “I think he would have liked that, but it just never got there.”

In March 2022, at the premiere of the latest Batman film, Fox told Entertainment Tonight dating YE was a “reset button” for her life.

“It was the best thing that could have happened to me,” Fox said. She also would go into detailing how her life is extremely busy, and she doesn’t have the time for a formal relationship.

In a previous statement about her relationship with Ye, Fox boasted about coming up during the relationship with the Hip-Hop Billionaire.

According to PEOPLE, the couple’s two-month relationship kicked off on New Year’s Eve and wrapped on Valentine’s Day. A rep for the actress said in a statement, “Julia and Kanye remain good friends and collaborators, but they are no longer together.”

That didn’t stop Fox from speaking for herself, hopping online and dropping a response to a report that she cried:

Speaking with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live, Fox states The Boy flew her on a private jet, cuddled with her, and flooded her with luxury handbags. At first, Fox played coy about the identity of the star, dubbing him an “A-Lister” but gave up the identity in the after-show.

“Being on a private jet, cuddled on the jet, landed, got some Chanel bags,” Fox said. “It was great, yeah.”

Kanye West is said to be missing after his lawyers can’t reach him to inform him that he’s dropped as a client. The law firm dropped the rapper after his antisemitic rants.

West went missing sometime last month. His former business manager, suing him for $4.5 million, said in court that he hasn’t spoken to Ye in weeks.

But most surprisingly, Ye allegedly missed spending the Christmas holidays with his four children– 9-year-old daughter North, son Saint, 7, daughter Chicago, 4, and 3-year-old son Psalm.

Friends say he would never miss spending the holidays with his kids, who he loves dearly. Greenberg Traurig LLP, which represented West until recently, told Insider magazine that the law firm couldn’t find West to tell him they’ve dropped him as a client.

Legally they must formally notify West that they no longer represent him. But they are unable to locate him. In a December 12 letter to a federal judge reviewed by Insider, an attorney for the firm told the judge they could not reach him.

The judge, Analisa Torres, said the law firm couldn’t officially cut ties with Kanye until they hand him her court order allowing them to withdraw as his attorneys of record. This is troubling news for Ye’s fans, who are growing more worried as time passes with still no word from him.

Kanye West is ducking and dodging legal documents. The rapper and businessman, who now goes by Ye, is reportedly attempting to sidestep Thomas St. John and his legal team, who are looking to serve him documents.

AllHipHop notes St. John is suing Ye for breach of contract but has been unable to locate the rapper for weeks to serve him. St. John says Ye has stopped paying a monthly retainer fee after a meeting went left, or as he notes, “aggressive.”

St. John was operating as the Chief Financial Officer of DONDA and was to be paid $300,000 monthly.

“[St. John] needed a guarantee that [West] wouldn’t abruptly abandon the commercial relationship, in addition to the financial costs and hazards associated with committing to [West] as client. But Mr. St. John offered to settle for a contract lasting at least 18 months,” the lawsuit states.

Ye is also dodging his own legal counsel as they are attempting to withdraw as his counsel.

Despite recently performing with some of the biggest names in hip-hop, rapper Theophilus London is nowhere to be found- and he has now officially been declared a missing person.

London’s family officially reported him missing this week, filing an official police report with the LAPD. The family alleges they have not seen or spoken with the 35-year-old artist since July. (His last Instagram post was from July 11.)

London hails from Trinidad and Tobago and has worked with Kanye West, Travis Scott, Azealia Banks, Tame Impala, and many more. He has also performed at many international and North American music festivals, drawing praise from music critics in multiple genres.

According to TMZ, London’s father said, “Theo, your Dad loves you, son. We miss you. And all your friends and relatives are searching for you. Wherever you are, send us some signal. No matter what we will come get you son.”

The rapper’s family has urged the public to contact the LAPD if they have information about his whereabouts or well-being. They can also reach out to London’s cousin, Mikhail Noel, on Instagram at @iamdjkellz.

In 2011, London released his debut album, Timez Are Weird These Days. It was followed up by Vibes (with Kanye West serving as executive producer) in 2014 and Bebey in 2020.

Pusha T‘s time as the President and a member of G.O.O.D. Music is over. Speaking with XXL, King Push revealed that he decided to distance himself from Ye following his anti-semitic rants and remarks.

“If you ain’t with it, you ain’t down. And I ain’t with it. I’m not budging on that. I’m not with it. I heard about this new stuff [on InfoWars]. I don’t know. It’s something that just sort of tells me he’s not well, at the same time. I will say that. It’s going to places where it’s no way to move around it.”

Pusha T stated he hasn’t spoken to Ye recently, citing their last conversation was when he was on tour.

“I just expressed myself. I express myself to him a lot. He expressed his thoughts to me. And he got off the phone saying, ‘Thank you. I know you don’t agree with me, but you never kill me in the public. And some people can’t wait to do that.'”

Pusha T confirmed that he is still with Def Jam, engaged in a 50/50 venture with the label for his releases and his Heir Wave Music Group label.

“Kanye uses his celebrity platform to push dangerous antisemitic tropes about Jews and power and he refuses to stop,” said Liora Rez, StopAntisemitism Executive Director. “His continuous onslaught of bigoted statements has resulted in horrific antisemitic acts perpetrated by white supremacists, Black Hebrew Israelites, and other fringe groups looking to cause Jews harm.

“Jew hatred is already out of control in the United States and the last thing we need is a celebrity like Kanye to add fuel to that fire.”

Meanwhile, Ye has been suspended from Clubhouse for another round of antisemitic views.

According to new legal documents, Kanye West may be facing eviction from his home in Calabasas. This past October, Adidas, Balenciaga, Chase Bank, Gap, Vogue, and talent agency CAA terminated their business with Kanye West after he made a series of antisemitic statements.

According to new legal documents, obtained by The Blast, a company named ‘CT Calabasas’ claims the ‘Yeezy Apparel’ company is behind by at least two months of rent. The legal case is what’s called an “unlawful detainer” of their property, and they want him out in 72 hours unless it’s paid in full.

Kanye’s company is being accused of owing $63,254 in back rent.

In the filing, the company claims it signed a deal with Kanye’s brand way back in 2015 when it was still called ‘West Brands Fashion.’ But, in 2016 they say Yeezy Apparel merged with Kanyes’ other company “thereby succeeding West Brand’s interest in the lease. At the time, Yeezy agreed to pay $31,477.40 a month for the office space. At this point, the landlord claims it hasn’t been paid for November or December and wants him out!

“Within three days after service of this notice on you, you must pay the amount of said rent in full or quit said premises and deliver up possession of the same to the authorized agent for your landlord,” the eviction notice reads.

It adds, “If you fail to pay or quit, legal proceedings will be instituted against you for possession of the premises, forfeiture of the agreement, and for monetary damages as may be allowed by law. You are further notified that by this Notice the Landlord elects to and does hereby declare a forfeiture of said Lease if said rent is not paid in full within three (3) days.”

After being suspended by both Twitter and Instagram, Ye took to the social media platform Clubhouse to continue his tirade of anti-semitic remarks.

In a recent Clubhouse chat with Wack 100, Ye continued his anti-semitic rants and even brought Chinese people into it, saying that the Chinese “use Jewish people” to “control Black people.” He suggested that Jewish people are just “middlemen.”

Shortly after the comments were made, Ye was swiftly suspended from Clubhouse. The social media company released a statement on Ye’s suspension.

“We took action to shut down a conversation yesterday because it violated our policies,” the statement reads. “We also suspended those who violated the policies. There’s absolutely no place for bullying, hate speech or abuse on our platform as explicitly stated in our Community Guidelines and Terms of Service.”

During the chat, Ye also took shots at Meek Mill while ranting about celebrities coming out against the musician and fashion designer.

“Oh, you know what, let’s go get celebrities,” Ye said. “Let’s go get Puff Daddy, let’s get Dave Chappelle, let’s go get Meek Mill… What made somebody think Meek Mill could say something to me?!” Ye added: “Yo, man, I’m about to start crying laughing, somebody thought Meek Mill… Yo, I’m literally in tears.”

Meek would respond to Ye in a tweet on Sunday.

“Never lost my mind for fame or money,” Meek wrote. “I still have my family …my people respect me … I’m freeing people from prison… I’m doing community service all month with children up close and personal .. I’m chilling wit my son and his friends today.. y’all on clubhouse at 50 lol”

Kanye West has lost his honorary degree from the School of Art Institute of Chicago. The prestigious school removed the honor after his run of inflammatory comments.

In a letter to TMZ, the Art Institute cites the decision as a result of Ye’s “anti-Black, antisemitic, and incendiary statements, particularly those directed at Black and Jewish communities, are disgusting and condemnable.”

The letter comes from the school’s president, Elissa Tenny, who states, “As a community, we know that there are varying opinions on what our School’s response should be––even as we all agree that his behavior is indefensible.”

Ye received the degree in May 2015 for his accomplishments and contributions to art and culture.

Ye recently dropped a new track “Someday We’ll All Be Free” on Alex Jones’s far right-wing website Infowars. In the new track, Ye talks about the backlash he has received for his anti-semitic comments over the past month.

The track samples Donny Hathaway’s 1973 song “Someday We’ll All Be Free,” and towards the end, he samples his own words from his interview with Alex Jones on the far right-wing commentators show Infowars.

In the song, Ye talks about his failed marriage with Kim Kardashian, rapping “Waking up to ‘I can’t do this anymore’ texts” and even admitting that his own antics had something to do with their breakup when he rapped “I know ’cause the headlines why you wanna leave/
You knew I follow God, so you should follow me.”

Towards the end of the song, Ye also referenced the inflammatory “death con” tweets that began his fall from grace. “Tweeted death con now we past three” Ye rapped.

At the end of the song, Ye sampled his own words from his interview with Alex Jones where he went on a Nazi and Hitler-loving rant. In the song, however, he cuts the sample short after he says “There’s a lot of things that I love.”

Following the release of the song, many took to Twitter where they shared their thoughts on Ye releasing the song, especially on Infowars.
