The Weeknd is teasing a new project. Hitting Twitter, he uploaded a video of himself in the studio and announced “THE IDOL VOL. 1.”

With new music on the way, The Weeknd continues to run up the numbers. His latest edition of “Die for You,” featuring Ariana Grande, has hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The leap happened from the No. 6 slot.

According to Luminate, the song “Die for You,” dropped on XO/Republic Records, received 81.1 million radio airplay audience impressions (up less than 1%), 32.4 million streaming (up 181%), and 14,000 sales (up 1,170%), between February 24 and March 2.

Pop superstar sensation, Ariana Grande, is returning to music with a remix of The Weeknd’s hit ‘Die For You’. The singer has not released new music since her 2020 ‘Positions’ album and fans can hardly wait for more. 

The 29 year-old singer and actress has officially teamed up with her friend and collaborator, 33 year-old The Weekend, on a remix of his 2016 track ‘Die For You’ from the album ‘Starboy’.

The Grammy winner posted a viral clip of her editing her verse in the vocal booth on Tuesday where she sings, “You know what I’m thinkin’, see it in your eyes / You hate that you want me, hate it when you cry.”

She posted the video with a caption saying, “Wrote and recorded a verse for my friend after a 14 hour day on set. This certain exception had to be made..”

It is unclear when fans should expect this remix as Grande is currently filming the two-part movie adaptation of smash hit Broadway musical ‘Wicked’, in which she plays Glinda. The hours are long and she is hyper focused on her character. 

When asked by a TikTok user why she is no longer a singer, she replied: “Literally on set filming two musical movies all day every day.”

Make no mistake, this is not Ariana and The Weekends first go around. The pair first teamed up on 2014’s ‘Love Me Harder’ from Ariana’s album ‘My Everything’. And in 2020, they duetted on ‘Off The Table’ on her LP ‘Positions’, while Ariana showcased her range on a remix of ‘Save Your Tears’ from his record ‘After Hours’.

Though she has taken time to lay low, in terms of original music, she recently reassured fans she is still very much a singer and reminded them of her vocal aptitude on a rendition of ‘Over the Rainbow’ from 1939 classic ‘Wicked’.

Ariana Grande is not on Kanye West’s album Donda.

Shortly after Kanye West released “Donda” fans started to speculate that Grande provided backup vocals on the title track and “Believe What I Say.”

Grande took to her Instagram stories to celebrate the artist who is actually on the song. Grande shared one of Stalone’s posts about working on Donda.

She told her that she sounds beautiful on the album.

“Vocals under MB Stadium in #atl before the start of #DONDA 2…The entire album is a masterpiece. I’m so grateful,” Stalone shared on her own Instagram post.

She also tweeted the song’s credits and told fans how flattered she was that her vocals were compared to Grande’s.

This news arrives after Kanye West claims that Universal Music Group released the album without his consent. Ye Shared in an Instagram post Sunday.

“UNIVERSAL PUT MY ALBUM OUT WITHOUT MY APPROVAL AND THEY BLOCKED JAIL 2 FROM BEING ON THE ALBUM.”

According to Variety, representatives for Universal had no comment on the allegation, but sources at the company called it “preposterous.” Def Jam sent a press release announcing the arrival of Donda at around 8:15 a.m. Sunday morning.

Over the past few weeks, fans have been suspecting a possible collaboration from Meg Thee Stallion and Ariana Grande. Well, turns out fans were right as the “Seven Rings” singer released the remix track to her single, “34+35” featuring Meg Thee Stallion and Doja Cat.

Fans were disappointed to hear that neither Doja Cat nor Meg Thee Stallion threw shots at Azealia Banks following her Instagram rant that body-shamed both women. Banks made comments saying that Doja Cat had an “old white lady face” and she called Meg the Stallion a “f*cking fat cow.” Both women are really putting a new meaning to being unbothered and drama free.

Ariana Grande is going back to back. The pop star’s latest album, Positions, will remain in pole position, bringing in 82,000 units to remain on top of the Billboard 200.

The latest album from Grande is the second of hers to spend two weeks at the No. 1 slot on the Billboard 200. The previous was Thank U Next.

Grande had some stiff competition from Pop Smoke’s Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon, which continues to have an impressive posthumous run on the charts. This week the debut brought in 57,000 units.

No. 3 on the charts belongs to The Kid Laroi with 52,000 units for his F*ck Love album and King Von takes a leap into the Top 5 with his debut album Welcome to O’Block.

Also in the top 10 representing Hip-Hop is Nav and Wheezy’s Emergency Tsunami album, hitting No 6. with 42,000 equivalent album units in the first week. You can read more about that album here.

When an Ariana Grande album is announced, a Billboard 200 debut is sure to follow. The star’s latest album, Positions, lands at the top of the chart with a powerful 174,000 equivalent album units in its first week.

Of that total number, 42,000 of the sales came from traditional album purchases, 3,000 from TEA units, and 142,000 consisted of SEA units. Showing the popularity of her work, Grande brought in 173.54 million on-demand streams for the first week, making it the second-highest total for the year outside of R&B, hip-hop, or Latin.

Sliding in the third slot is Pop Smoke’s Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon, which continues an impressive 2020 run.

Somehow, someway, Chaka Khan ended up sitting down with Luenell on Vlad TV.

During her conversation, the soul legend spoke about a variety of topics, including praising Anderson .Paak and being open to collaboration. When it comes to Ariana Grande, the words were not as flattering.

“Fuck her, she’s alright,” Khan said. “She’s good on her own. Plus, I don’t wanna sing with another woman. I ain’t got nothing to say, OK, with a woman. You say it by yourself. We ain’t gonna talk about no man. We not gonna do none of that stuff. It’s not happening.”

If that wasn’t enough, Khan made sure she made her point clear, “I’m not gonna do no song with no heifer.”

As far as Andy, “He’s got a future. Yes ma’am. So, there are a few young people I really do want and will work with.”

Later in the conversation, Khan would positively refer to Lalah Hathaway as a “bad singing bitch.”

Billboard is making some serious changes.

In recent years, record labels have packaged artists’ merchandise and ticket sales with the intent to increase their sales and chart position. The music publication has since caught wind of this advantage. As a result, they are no longer contributing these bundles to artist’s albums sales. The bundles will now count as add-ons.

Billboard states:

“Under the new rules, which will be implemented at a start date to be announced, all albums bundled with either merchandise or concert tickets must be promoted as an add-on to those purchases in order to be counted on the charts. Those included as part of a baked-in, single-price option (along with the merchandise or ticket), with the album cost undisclosed to the consumer, will no longer be counted. It is Billboard’s belief that the resulting charts will more accurately reflect consumer choice.”

Last month, Tekashi 6ix9ine went on a rant in an attempt to expose both Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber. The three artists were racing to atop the Billboard Hot 100 at the time. Although it took some time for immediate change, it has come nevertheless. According to Billboard, all three artists used the tactic of offering vinyl or physical CDs. Typically, these CDs are counted in sales but are promised to be shipped months after the initial sale is made.

The changes are to take effect immediately. DJ Akademiks reported that Drake’s Dark Lane Demo Tapes, which debuted at No.2 on the Billboard 200 will now be considered No.1 under the new changes. Drake initially got beat out of the top spot by Country singer, Kenny Chesney. Chesney used the ticket bundle tactic to boost sales. He later canceled his tour following achieving the No. 1 feat, thus, “cheated Aubrey of a #1.”

According to Chart Data, Megan Thee Stallion’s Fever and City Girls Girl Code fall at the 4 and 5 spots respectively. Lizzo’s album sales were catapulted with the #1 hit song “Truth Hurts.” The single sat at #1 for 7 weeks straight which tied Iggy Azalea’s single “Fancy” from 2014.

Cuz I Love You dropped in April 2019 and has spent 27 weeks on the Billboard Top 200 albums. Lizzo’s project peaked at #4 and currently sits at #12.

According to the “Thank You, Next” singer, Forever 21 had a deal on the table last year with her team. However, they never closed the deal, as the brand could not afford the financial terms proposed by Grande’s team. Negotiations lasted from December 2018 to January 2019, and would have included a project where her name and likeness would push a campaign.

Even though the deal dissolved, Grande’s team alleges that Forever 21 did not abandon their plans. It seems as the corporate team hired a look-alike model to mislead Arianators into thinking the deal actually happened. She is suing… and wants $10M in damages for the alleged ripoff!

TMZ has documents that claim that Forever 21, the Christian-based business, has published “30 unauthorized images and videos misappropriating Ariana’s name and likeness” and emulating several looks from her recent album and music videos, especially “7 Rings.”

Ariana Grande’s new role as brand ambassador for the Givenchy FW19 collection has finally been unveiled following the first announcement back in May, and the full #ARIVENCHY campaign is packed with stunning imagery and a lighthearted promo video as well.

While some of the lookbook shots are featured in vibrant color, the campaign for the most part utilizes a black and white aesthetic that makes the young pop diva look absolutely classic. The video portion is actually quite comical, with Ariana singing “off the dome”-style lyrics that playfully describe the photoshoot itself. She croons (“Shooting my campaign, for Givenchy!”“), she curses (“That’s right, bitch; Try me…you can’t!“) and, hell, she even steals some gear, but most importantly she does it all while looking picture perfect in her signature high ponytail. We see you, Ari!

The new Charlie’s Angels film stars Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott and Ella Balinska (seen above), the latter joining on as the first angel of color to debut in the film series — well, unless you consider the super brief cameo Eve made in Full Throttle, or Annie Ilonzeh’s role as Kate Prince in the ill-received 2011 television series reboot. This time around, we’re introduced to Sabina Wilson (Stewart), Elena Houghlin (Scott) and Jane Kano (Balinska) as our heroines, who each possess the skills and knowledge to save the world from all types of underlying evil. The real star though is Elizabeth Banks, who not only wrote and directed this film but also stars as the Angels’ longtime liaison Bosley.

A new twist on the tale actually extends the universe to make Townsend Agency go global, resulting in multiple teams of Angels with each having their own Bosley – Patrick Stewart and Djimon Hounsou will also play the role alongside Banks. Another fun addition this time around comes in the form of three more ladies: Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus and Lana Del Rey. The trio of pop princesses will handle the theme song in a similar fashion to the chart-topping hit “Independent Women” by Destiny’s Child from the 2000 Charlie’s Angels soundtrack. The new film will be more of a continuation to the ones we’ve seen in the past on TV and in theaters, so the chance of a cameo by any of the previous Angels in future sequels is a feasible possiblity. Hey, at this point it’s the more Angels the merrier!

Charlie’s Angels will be distributed by Sony Pictures and arrives on November 15. Peep the initial trailer above.

The President of the Planned Parenthood is a fan of Ariana Grande and praises Grande of a generous donation by fighting back with Congress, state houses and streets about the abortion law of women’s lives. Grande supports women’s rights standing with the organization and health care. The organization won’t stop fighting on what matters.

Besides the pop singer, other celebrities have promised to donate to the organization. Travis Scott is one who will donate to the organization with his merch sales to the organization.

Bieber performed “Sorry” when he hit the stage and revealed to his first crowd of two years that he will be soon releasing some new music.

Ariana Grande found a special place in her live show experience for her late boyfriend Mac Miller. The pop princess started her Sweetener tour last night (March 18) in Albany, New York and tunes from the Pittsburgh rapper flooded the stadium prior to her performance.

Fans in attendance report music from the Miller to play before the show and TMZ confirms the last song to play was “Dang!” The show would also not include songs like “ghostin” or “imagine” do to the weight of performing the tracks as they are often tied to Miller.

No Grammy performance, no problem. Ariana Grande will top the Billboard 200 for the week ending February 14 with the first week of 360,000 album equivalent units moved.

Billboard details the performance of Thank U, Next is the biggest effort for a Pop album in over a year.

The latest album, pushed by the title track, in addition to “7 Rings,” is the fourth number one album for the pop star, second in six months and now holds the record for the biggest streaming week ever for an album in the pop category.

Ariana Grande has tied Taylor Swift for the second most number one albums in the past decade, only trailing Lady Gaga.

The album replaces A Boogie Wit da Hoodie who had a three-week run t the top slot. The two and three slots are owned by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s A Star Is Born and the soundtrack for Bohemian Rhapsody, both of which may be receiving bumps due to Awards season.

Ariana Grande may have missed the Grammy’s stage, by choice, but you can catch her at Coachella at the start of the spring.

When Cardi B’s Invasion of Privacy was announced as the winner for Best Rap Album, besting Pusha-T, Nipsey Hussle, Travis Scott, and the late Mac Miller, Grande sounded off on the timeline with “trash” in reference to the decision.

“Trash” was not the only message sent by the “7 Ringz” singer, she followed it with individual tweets that read “fuck.,” “bullshit,” and “literal bullshit.”

Quickly, Grande clarified that she was not attempting to rain on Cardi’s moment, instead was upset that her ex-bae Mac Miller was not awarded, citing his family was invited to the ceremony and the effort he put into the album.

Cardi B thanked fans and more in a second acceptance speech that went directly to her Instagram and stated she was sharing the award with Mac Miller after having a moment with his family. Cardi detailed Miller’s family wanted her to win if it was not awarded to him.

Ariana Grande also reached out in an effort of congratulations to the Invasion of Privacy creator. A source close to Grande also confirmed to PEOPLE that “it has nothing to do with Cardi.”

Grande was also a winner, taking him Best Pop Vocal Album for Sweetener.

Ariana Grande is gearing up to release her thank u, next album but don’t look forward to seeing the superstar perform any of the singles at the Grammy Awards this Sunday. Grande was scheduled to perform this Sunday (Feb. 10) but has pulled out after she was “insulted.”

According to Variety, the “7 Rings” creator was told by producers that she cannot sing the song on stage. She eventually would be able to get the Recording Academy to fold, however, they wanted to pick her second song and requested a medley to be performed. The decision to withdraw from the show was done after source reveal that she is the only artist who has to work around her song selection or as they put it “such stipulations.”

Since it’s release, “7 Rings” has been the center of a controversy. Right after Soulja Boy returned to the scene and caused a stir on The Breakfast Club, the single was released. Big Drako was quick to point out how the cadence and tone in which Grande performed was similar to his on “Pretty Boy Swag.” Once Grande released the video, she and dancers could be seen performing at what looked to be a pink trap house, much similar to the trademark of 2 Chainz. Rectifying the situation, or at least acknowledging Chainz’s genius, Grande would include him on a remix to the single, which was released last week.

Comedian Pete Davidson had found himself all over the news in the last few months. His highly publicized relationship and breakup with pop star Ariana Grande put a major spotlight on him. But over the weekend, the Saturday Night Live comic posted, then deleted a troubling Instagram post. Davidson earlier on Saturday wrote, “I really don’t want to be on this earth anymore. I’m doing my best to stay here for you but I actually don’t know how much longer I can last. All I’ve ever tried to do was help people. Just remember I told you so.” He ended his post with a heart emoji.

Following the alarming post, New York Police Department (NYPD) paid a visit to  Davidson, who has spoken openly about his mental health problems in the past, just to make sure that he was doing OK.

Also responding to his note on Instagram was his ex-fiance, Ariana Grande. She wrote, “I’m downstairs and I’m not going anywhere if you need anyone or anything. I know you have everyone that you need and that’s not me but I’m here too.”

Later that evening, Davidson made an appearance on Saturday Night Live introducing musical guests Miley Cyrus and Mark Ronson. It has been reported that Davidson has deleted all his social media.

It looks like the video for Ariana Grande’s latest song, “Thank U, Next” is finished and for the visuals, she is paying homage to at least two legendary films in pop culture. In series of tweets, the Sweetener teased some behind the scene photos.

In one tweet the singer drops a clue, “Meet The Plastics” followed by three pictures of her and her posse. Everyone knows the Plastics are from the famous teenage movie Mean Girls which centers around North Shore High School Queen B, Regina George, and her loyal band of followers.

For clue number two the singer posted a picture of her in an orange crop top with an orange MAC Book to go along with her caption “whoever said orange was the new pink was seriously disturbed.” These famous words were uttered by Reese Witherspoon character, Elle Woods in the movie Legally Blonde which is about a spoiled sorority girl who enrolls in Harvard Law School to prove that she can be taken seriously.

Ariana Grande will close her 2018 with the honor of being the Billboard Woman of the Year. The Sweetener singer will receive the award on December 6 at Billboard’s Women in Music dinner and awards gala.

The 13th annual dinner will be punctuated with the award to Grande, following up the likes of Taylor Swift and Madonna who have been prior recipients.

Ariana Grande has announced her Sweetener World Tour and now reveals Normani is joining her for the North American leg. The tour will start in Albany, New York on March 18 and ends in New York, New York on June 18. Grande recently released her single about her recent romances titled “thank u, next” ahead of this past week’s episode of Saturday Night Love featuring her ex-fiance Pete Davidson.

Normani, from Fifth Harmony, has released her two track EP with Calvin Harris and the vocals from the two are outstanding.

At some point over the weekend, you may have come intact with talk of the end of the relationship of Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson. With a new episode of Saturday Night Live being promoted, Davidson cracked a brief joke in a promo package for the episode, leading fans to believe the breakup would become material for the show.

Right before the episode, Ariana Grande released her new single, “Thank U, Next,” which exploded on the timeline and trended seemingly serving as a way to quiet what could be an impending comedy storm.

The moment that is much discussed from the episode is Davidson’s appearance during Weekend Update where he did address the high-profile split, however, he did so amicably.

“The truth is it’s nobody’s business,” Davidson said during the segment regarding his relationship. “Sometimes things just don’t work out and that’s OK. She’s a wonderful, strong person and I genuinely wish her all the happiness in the world.”

Ariana Grande clearly doesn’t want her name uttered out of Pete Davidson’s mouth.

The Saturday Night Live star didn’t explicitly say the singer’s name, but from the looks of the teaser Davidson clearly referenced their short-lived engagement when he proposed to Maggie Rogers shortly after meeting her.

“Hey Maggie, I’m Pete,” Davidson says alongside host Jonah Hill. “You wanna get married?” After she declines, he responds, “0 for three.”

Downplaying their relationship did not sit well with Ariana, who took to Twitter on Thursday with the sharpest clap back.

“For somebody who claims to hate relevancy [you] sure love clinging to it huh,” she wrote, adding, “Thank [you], next.”

The “God Is a Woman” pop star didn’t call Davidson out, however a few other fan tweets that Ariana engaged with made her target clear as day.

Ariana retweeted and liked one tweet that stated, “SNL is about to milk their breakup just like they did with the engagement.”

The 25-year-old pop star is gradually separating herself from Davidson since their split in mid-October. Ariana Grande concealed two of their matching tattoos and is gearing up to take off on her Sweetener World Tour in 2019.

Kanye West is scheduled to take the Saturday Night Live stage tomorrow to perform new music, probably from Yandhi, amid the show’s 44th season debut. But according to the series creator, Lorne Michaels, Ye wasn’t SNL’s first pick.

In a recent podcast interview with James Andrew Miller, as Stereogum brings up, Michaels clarifies the group picked Kanye after Ariana Grande dropped out of earlier this month. “We had Ariana drop out for emotional reasons two days ago,” he says, meaning this conversation was likely recorded before they announced Ye’s performance on Sept. 17. “That’s our premiere, and then Kanye stepped up, and he’ll be there.”

Its a well-known fact Grande is mourning the loss of her ex Mac Miller, who passed away on Sept. 7. Fans were concerned for the singer’s mental health after she posted the following tweets:

It’s probably the best that Grande chose to sit this one out. Her beau and SNL cast member, Pete Davidson, went on Late Night with Seth Meyers Thursday to dish on the new season. He praised the show’s up and coming to host Adam Driver otherwise known as Kylo Ren otherwise known as the white cop from BlacKkKlansman. “He’s like very calm and like an adult and respectful,” he said of Driver. “He’s like a marine.”

Davidson likewise revealed to Meyers he “heard some pretty wild things” about Kanye West’s upcoming performance. For those as yet riding for Ye, they just need to hold up somewhat longer to perceive what wild stuff may be in store. Given his ongoing tricks, it’s not very hard to envision.

As this year’s highly contentious midterm elections play an important role in determining the course of politics on state, local, and federal levels, many celebrities are campaigning for their favorite candidates and many are encouraging their fans to also engage in the democratic process by casting their vote- regardless of political party or affiliation.

Long before Taylor Swift and Kanye West encouraged people to participate in the democratic process (both in their own….unique…ways), Sean “P. Diddy” Combs led the “Vote or Die!” initiative in 2004,  flying on a private jet that he nicknamed “Air Force Change” from New York to Milwaukee, Detroit, Cleveland, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and Miami on a three-day tour to inform young people and minorities that voting is important and, well, “sexy,” according to a 2004 Today Show profile on the artist, who throughout the campaign, refused to endorse either candidate (Bush or Kerry) at the time.

Yet before “P. Diddy” or even “Puff Daddy” was a household name, one of the oldest nonpartisan organizations, “Rock the Vote,” was founded in 1990 by Virgin Records America Co-Chairman Jeff Ayeroff, to encourage young people to vote. The organization has dedicated the past three decades to promoting voter registration and education through their numerous campaigns, mostly dedicated to providing resources aimed at helping people understand how and where to vote as well as presenting unbiased explanations of major campaign issues. Over the years, Rock the Vote has been supported by Lenny Kravitz, Pearl Jam, and other musicians, celebrities, and athletes- many of who have plugged the importance of voting at their concerts, events, or social media. Most recently, Jaren Jackson Jr., the newest member of the Memphis Grizzlies, showcased his passion for voting on NBA draft night with a custom Rock the Vote lined jacket.

Harnessing the power of social media and social influence, MTV recently announced their newest “+1 the Vote” campaign in hopes of harnessing the power of friendship and ignite the most powerful voting bloc in the country among young voters after a research study showed that “76% of young people think inviting friends to the polling station is an effective way to encourage others to vote.”

Other Hip-Hop artists who shared their voting on social media in years past and encouraged others to do the same include Russell Simmons, Chance the Rapper, Fergie, Lil Jon, Alicia Keys, and Queen Latifah, who summarized the importance of participating in the democratic process quite succinctly in a 2014 tweet: “Make it your duty and use your power for GOOD to go out and vote today!”

In 2016, after performing a free concert in Chicago’s Grant Park, Chance the Rapper led hundreds of crowd members from the concert to an early voting location in the city on the night before Election Day, an effort dubbed the “Parade to the Polls” that may have led to a 24 percent increase in early voting rates from 2008, according to Cook County officials.

While most celebrities haven’t shared the specifics of their voting day plans yet, Frankie Grande recently announced that he would be bringing his sister, Arianna Grande, as his plus one to the polling stations this year. While Ashanti is also a “+1 the Vote” campaign promoter, there’s no word yet on who she plans to bring to the polling stations or how she is getting there.

Perhaps Diddy has a plane that she can borrow?

Pete Davidson made his first stage appearance on Saturday (Oct. 20) following the news broke that him and Ariana Grande split after a Summer romance.

The 24-year-old Saturday Night Live star co-hosted the comedy show, Judd & Pete for America, benefiting Swing Left at Largo at the Coronet in West Hollywood, with Judd Apatow. “Well, as you could tell, I don’t want to be here. There’s a lot going on,” Davidson told the crowd. “Does anybody have any open rooms? Looking for a roommate?”

During their relationship, the singer purchased a $16 million New York City apartment for her and Davidson. Pete is “staying with family” and was “doing fine” after they broke up and called off the engagement. “He has a strong support system of family and friends around him that are keeping him laughing.”

During his set at the comedy show, Davidson also joked about covering the tattoo he got in honor of his ex-girlfriend.

“Um, I’ve been covering a bunch of tattoos, that’s fun,” Davidson told the crowd. “I’m f–king 0 for 2 in the tattoo [department]. Yeah, I’m afraid to get my mom tattooed on me, that’s how bad it is.”

The couple had gotten a few matching tattoos while they were together. Grande recently made her post-split appearance at a taping of NBC’s A Very Wicked Halloween, and was seen wearing a Band-Aid over one of her tats.

“So, obviously you know I, we [Ariana and I] broke up or whatever but when me and her first got engaged we got tattoos,” he later continued. “And it was like in a magazine like, ‘Was Pete Davidson stupid?’ And 93% of it said yes,” Davidson told the audience. “So my boy, he was like, ‘Don’t listen to that s–t man. They’re literally f–king haters.’ And I’m like, yeah, f–k that. I’m not stupid. And the other day we were in my kitchen and he was like, ‘Yo bro. Turns out you were stupid.'”

Rumors have it that the death of Ariana Grande’s ex-boyfriend, Mac Miller, was a breaking point for her relationship with Pete Davidson, and the split was a long time coming.

Sources close to the singer says she already returned the nearly $100k engagement ring Davidson gave her back in June. The ring which was roughly about 3 carats was a one of a kind, made specifically for Grande. 

Davison reportedly brought the ring up into question after the split and Grande kindly forked it over without a hassle. 

Their pea cup pig, Piggy Smallz that the couple adopted last month went to Ariana Grande since she originally brought it. Davidson has a tattoo of Smallz on his torso so we’re sure he will always keep Piggy’s memory alive.

Reports began circulating this weekend that suggested Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson broke up.

The couple was last seen on good terms on Saturday, during a taping of Saturday Night Live. Eyewitnesses say that they were all boo’d up, kissing and holding each other backstage. So things must’ve took a turn for the worst that same night or the very next day.

However, TMZ reports that following Mac Miller’s death, the singer was an emotional wreck and realized a couple things. For instance, she’s not ready to fully invest herself into Pete and she rushed into an engagement with him way too soon.

She also shared screenshots on her Instagram story that showed that she was listening to “Dunno” and “Ladders” from his latest project, Swimming, which fans suspected was about her.

Last night the Emmy Awards went down in Los Angeles. Ariana Grande and her fiancé Pete Davidson were supposed to make their first public appearance since Mac’s death, but they were both no-shows.

The singer’s camp announced that she will be taking a break from the limelight to “mend and heal” from the events of the past year, including the terrorist attack in Manchester during her concert in 2017 which gave her anxiety and PTSD.

The two broke up in May of 2018 over Miller’s tumultuous lifestyle due to his battle with addiction.

“This is one of my best friends in the whole world and favorite people on the planet,” Grande wrote of Miller on Instagram after the split. “I respect and adore him endlessly and am grateful to have him in my life in any form, at all times regardless of how our relationship changes or what the universe holds for each of us! … Unconditional love is not selfish. It is wanting the best for that person even if at the moment, it’s not you.”

After taking some time off, Miller had seemed to be on the road to recovery after dropping his therapeutic album Swimming last month and his soul transcending Tiny Desk performance on NPR with Thundercat.

In early August, Miller had taken to Instagram in a since-deleted post to assure fans that he was “okay” in regards to his mental state and was looking forward to touring.

“I HAVE LITERALLY NEVER BEEN MORE OKAY.”

On September 7, Miller was found unresponsive at his San Fernando Valley home after authorities where he was pronounced dead on the scene. Miller was just 26 years old.

After news of his death hit, industry giants from Pete Rock to J. Cole responded with fond memories of the talented artist. He will surely be missed.

Ariana Grande played a huge part in supporting Mac Miller’s sobriety and wanted him to be healthy according to one of the rapper’s friends.

Shane Powers, who built a close relationship with the emcee L.A. – went on his shared some memories he had with Mac on his podcast, The Shane Show. Powers praised Mac’s ability, personality and his battle with substance abuse.

In the wake of his fatal overdose, Internet trolls began blaming his ex-girlfriend for his overdose, which led her to turn off her comments on Instagram, but Shane assured that the singer had nothing to do with and she only wanted to help.

Shane claims that the singer was ready to “go to the wall” for Mac Miller and knows that she’s devastated by his untimely death.

The couple broke up in May but remained good friends. She posted a captionless picture of the rapper on Saturday.
