Amazon is leaving no prisoners. Between the release of “Amazon Music” last week, which is their new music streaming service, as well as their already successful “Amazon Instant Video” movie and TV streaming service — Amazon continues to expand its reach across an array of industries. Their next venture? Smartphones.

Earlier this week, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos revealed, the “Fire Phone” which will be the company’s premier smartphone and it boasts some pretty amazing, practical and futuristic features. The most notable of the Fire Phone’s features is it’s “Dynamic Perspective” 3D motion effect technology, which through the use of four front-facing cameras can track a user’s head position and movements to alter the phone’s screen. Dynamic Perspective can be used navigate the phone, as well as give unique 3-dimensional perspectives of its lock screen, background, video games, map apps and more, making it one of the most interactive smartphone’s on the market.

Another innovative feature is the Fire Phone’s “Firefly” app. Firefly allows users to take a picture of virtually anything — a scene from a show or movie, video game, book titles, or even a bag of cookies — and will direct them websites (specifically Amazon) to purchase them. Additionally if a user takes a picture of artwork, a Wikipedia entry will appear. According to Bezos, “Firefly recognizes 100 million items” meaning there are very few things Firefly can’t identify.

The Fire Phone comes with a free one year subscription to Amazon Prime, a service that provides free two-day shipping, access to Amazon Instant Video, discounted pricing on Amazon, and tons more perks for members. An added bonus, exclusive to Fire Phone users, will be additional unlimited photo storage via Amazon’s Cloud Drive service — which eradicates Apple’s meager free 5GB of iCloud storage.

Amazon’s AT&T-exclusive Fire Phone releases on July 25th at $199 for the 32GB version, and $299 for the 64GB on a two-year contract. Pre-order yours here and preview of “Dynamic Perspective” below.
