Drake is in the midst of effectively putting out about 3-4 artists, prepping to go on tour with Lil’ Wayne, recording a new album (which will be out in Spring 2015 according to him), and getting ready to perform at the BET Awards and host the ESPYs. He’s may be about to add Blackberry spokesman to that list.

TechChrunch.com is reporting that Blackberry is heavily considering the Octobers Very Own to be the new face of it’s upcoming Blackberry Classic due out in November.  They go on to say that

Our source adds that Drake’s promotion will include the claim that he was involved in the design process of the new smartphone, which again isn’t as far-fetched as you might think – the rapper has apparently resisted the urge to upgrade to BB10 because no device that runs that OS has a physical trackpad, which is among his favorite features of the 9900. If true, Drake’s taste is shared by a lot of C-level executives I’ve talked to, who lament the removal of the function keys as well as the trackpad on the Q10.

Will this move prove to be another great business venture by the recently business bulletproof star or will it go the way of Alicia Keys & the somewhat forgotten brand.
