The Dalai Lama has issued an apology after he is seen in a video kissing a child on the lips before asking him to “suck my tongue.” The encounter between the Dalai Lama and the young boy occurred at an event in northern India.

In a statement to CNN, the Dalai Lama’s office stated his desire “to apologize to the boy and his family, as well as his many friends across the world, for the hurt his words may have caused.”

The statement also claimed the Dalai Lama teases people he meets “in an innocent and playful way” both in public and in front of cameras.

In the video, the young boy asks for a hug, leading to instructions about where to kiss him. The Dalai Lama would grab the boy’s chin and kiss him on the mouth before stating, “And suck my tongue.”

The incident occurred at the M3M Foundation, a branch of a real estate company in which the Dalai Lama resides.

Five people are dead and six injured after a mass shooting at a bank building in Louisville, Ky.

The early Monday morning shooting was at the Old National Bank building. The lone shooter is also dead following the incident.

The building is located at 300 E. Main St, with officers arriving minutes after the shooting began. According to CNN, the shooting began around 8:30 a.m.

Officers believe the shooter had a connection to the bank, specifically a previous employee. The shooter exchanged fire with the police, and now investigators are attempting to determine if the shooter was killed by police or a self-inflicted shot.

Speaking with the media, Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear revealed of the dead somewhere his friends. “This is awful. I have a very close friend that didn’t make it today, and I have another close friend that didn’t either,” Beshear said.

A jury originally ordered Tesla to pay over $137 million in a racial discrimination case brought by a former employee of its assembly plant in Fremont, California. A judge deemed that amount too excessive and a jury cut it down to $3 million.

The case was brought by Owen Diaz, who worked as an elevator operator at the plant. He reported he regularly heard racial slurs, including the N-word, on the Fremont factory floor, and saw racist graffiti in bathrooms and a racially insensitive cartoon.

Diaz, who is Black, claimed that the electric carmaker cast a blind eye to harassment. His supervisors allegedly taunted him with racist imagery and used epithets against him. “[I] had supervisors telling me, ‘N—-r, hurry up and push the button’; ‘N—-r, push these batteries out of the elevator.’ And they were also telling me, ‘N—–s aren’t shit,’” he said.

In 2021, Diaz originally asked for $101 million dollars and was rewarded $137 Million dollars instead. US District Judge William Orrick said the amount was too high and offered Diaz $15 million in damages in the case instead, but Diaz rejected the offer. Instead he choose to gamble and have a new trial. On Monday, a San Francisco federal jury said the electric car company will now have to pay Diaz a total of $3,175,000.

The trial is separate from another case brought by the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing, which said the agency had received “hundreds” of complaints from workers alleging racism and harassment at the Fremont factory.

Tesla has denied the charges that the situation was as bad as alleged in the two suits, but it has admitted there were problems which needed to be addressed at the plant.

In a blog post the company posted after the original 2021 verdict for $137 million, Valerie Capers Workman, then Tesla’s Vice President, People, wrote, “We do recognize that in 2015 and 2016 we were not perfect. We’re still not perfect. But we have come a long way from 5 years ago. We continue to grow and improve in how we address employee concerns.”

Capers Workman has since left Tesla and is now working as a bus driver. Watch the video below.

The dealer who sold Michael K. Williams fentanyl-laced heroin in 2021 has pleaded guilty to a narcotics conspiracy charge.

According to The New York Times, Irvin Cartagena, carrying the identity of “Green Eyes,” was charged with narcotics conspiracy resulting in death. By accepting the plea, Cartagena now faces 24 to 30 years in prison. Sentencing is set for August

“I knew my actions were wrong and against the law,” Cartagena said in court. “I am very sorry for my actions.”

Cartagena was arrested and charged alongside Hector Robles, Luis Cruz, and Carlos Macci. Robles and Crus have entered not-guilty pleas, while Macci pleaded guilty to a narcotics conspiracy charge.

Bob Lee, the creator of Cash App, was found fatally stabbed early Tuesday (Apr.4) near downtown San Francisco.

NBC reports San Francisco Police Department responded to a stabbing victim around 2:35 a.m. on Tuesday and found Lee suffering from the wounds. He was transported to a local hospital, where he would die.

At the time of his death, Lee operated as the Chief Product Office of MobileCoin.

“Bob was a force of nature. Helped to birth Android and CashApp into our world,” Joshua Goldbard, the CEO of MobileCoin told ABC7 News. “Moby was his dream: a privacy protecting wallet for the 21st Century. I will miss him every day.”

There have been no arrests made in Lee’s death.

Former president Donald Trump has been charged with 34 felony counts for falsification of business records, an unsealed indictment reads.

In court, Trump pleaded not guilty to each charge. The charges are connected to a hush money payment of $150,000 to adult film star Stormy Daniels during the 2016 presidential election.

The charges make Trump the first president to face criminal charges in history.

Before entering the courtroom, Trump did not speak a word but connected with all cameras around him. Images from inside the courtroom show him sitting with his legal team and two officers flanking the crew.

Stormy Daniels, the woman paid $130,000 in hush money, leading to the eventual indictment of former president Donald Trump is speaking out.

Speaking to the British newspaper, The Times, Daniels says she is fearful of her safety but notes Trump’s indictment was “monumental” and “epic.”

Daniels revealed she received a ton of abuse after the indictment leading to her fear. “The number and the intensity is the same as it was the first time aroudn, but this time it’s straight up violent,” Daniels said.

Daniels was scheduled to interview with Piers Morgan in Britain, but it was postponed due to “security issues.”

“It’s especially scary because Trump himself is inciting violence and encouraging it,” Daniels added.

On Thursday (March 30), a Manhattan grand jury voted to indict Donald Trump on charges involving payments of “hush money” to Daniels, with whom he allegedly had an extramarital affair, and which were made in the runup to the 2016 election. 

The charges are under seal and Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg must formally charge Trump.  Once he does, Trump will very likely surrender to authorities and be fingerprinted, photographed and processed for a felony arrest, although the details of how this will happen are apparently still being worked out.

Trump has repeatedly attacked the investigation, calling it “the greatest witch hunt in history” and claiming that Bragg, who is black, is racist against white people.   Certain Republicans have repeatedly claimed Bragg to be a “George Soros-backed” prosecutor, referring to the billionaire philanthropist who Republicans frequently cite as an antisemitic dog whistle.

 Trump previously predicted that he would be indicted last Tuesday and urged his supporters to protest in response, leading to tighter security in Manhattan on light of the events of January 6.   Just yesterday, when it was reported that the grand jury would not be imminently voting to indict, he posted on Truth Social that he had “gained so much respect for this grand jury . . . that [they] are saying hold on, we’re not a rubber stamp . . . we are not going to vote against a preponderance of evidence or against large numbers of legal scholars all saying there is no case here.”  

The grand jury voted to indict him the next day.  Trump has now issued a statement calling the indictment “political persecution.”  

This is the first time that a former U.S. president has had criminal charges brought against him, and it will undoubtably shake up the 2024 presidential election, for which Trump has been a declared candidate for months.   A Quinnipiac University poll taken this week found that 57% of Americans believe a criminal indictment should disqualify Trump from running for president again.  This includes Democrats 8% – 9% and Independents 55% – 36%.  However, Republicans say 75% – 23% that an indictment should not disqualify him.  There is nothing that legally prevents Trump from running for president if he is indicted – or even convicted.

These results indicate that Trump’s indictment will likely do him no favors in the general election, although the Republican primaries are far less certain.  According to a number of recent polls, Trump stills holds a lead of anywhere from 14 to 30 points over his closest rival, Florida governor Ron DeSantis.  It is unknown how the indictment will affect these numbers, but at least in the short term, it is possible that Republicans will rally around Trump.  Indeed, DeSantis has declared that Florida will not assist in any extradition request for Trump.  Privately, he is probably popping champagne corks.

Trump is facing a number of additional criminal investigations that may also yield indictments, including an investigation by the Fulton County District Attorney into Trump’s meddling with the 2020 vote count in Georgia, as well as two federal investigations into Trump’s removal and handling of classified documents following his presidency, and his role in inciting the insurrection on January 6, 2021. 

America faces the prospect that the Republican nominee for president will have been indicted  – and possibly convicted – of multiple, unrelated felonies under federal and state laws.  We are truly in uncharted territory already, and even more so if these circumstances come to pass.

Tupac’s sister, Set Shakur, is not having any comparisons between her late brother and former president Donald Trump. As Trump is set to be arraigned, he has often been compared to Tupac, the most recent being by Trump’s attorney Alina Habba, who also threw Biggie’s name in the mix as well.

Appearing on TMZ, Shakur stated the comparison was “blasphemous.”

“My brother was measured by his integrity, his principles and personal and collective responsibility,” Shakur said.

Speaking with Benny Johnson on The Benny Show, Trump’s attorney Alina Habba agreed with the show’s host that the forthcoming charges would raise the notoriety of the former President.

Habba would respond to Johnson stating, “Donald Trump is Tupac. Donald Trump is Biggie Smalls.” Habba would state she’s from the east coast, showing Biggie bias and stating Trump would be bigger than Tupac.

“Donald Trump is his own brand, he is everything,” Habba said. “This is just going to boost him we have seen it in the polls. This is not a question, this is a fact.”

So, who’s the right attorney, to take it to trial, is something that the client will have to decide. Ultimately, the decision of who to stand next to, before a jury, is a decision that only the client can make,” Parlatore said.

With Trump’s arraignment set for today (Apr 4), the security detail at the Manhattan court is experiencing a new level of patrol. According to CNN, officers who typically are inside the building will be outside.

Journalist Shimon Prokupecz said, “They’re not used to something like this. They’re usually inside the building, so it’s a little different for them.”

He also stated that the street Hogan Place is “entirely shut down.”

Former president Donald Trump is expected to turn himself in following his indictment on Tuesday. Media cameras will be present, but Trump will not be placed in cuffs.

According to CNN, it is currently unclear if cameras will be allowed in the courtroom. Judge Juan Merchan will decide those rules. He allowed cameras in the courtroom for Trump Organization’s CFO Allen Weisselberg’s sentencing last year.

The courtroom where Trump will be arraigned was heavily guarded on Friday, continuing over the weekend to today.

Trump is expected to enter a plea of not guilty, leave the courtroom, and return to Florida to continue his campaign for 2024.

Beginning this past weekend, U.S. states will begin to kick as many as 15 million people off Medicaid insurance as the emergency safety net initially put in place during the COVID-19 pandemic comes to an end.

What is Medicaid? Medicaid is a public health insurance program for people who have lower incomes. It is jointly administered by the state and federal governments. Over the past three years since the global pandemic, under an emergency pandemic measure, states have stopped double-checking if people who are enrolled in Medicaid are still eligible for its coverage. Suppose you were enrolled in Medicaid in March 2020 or became eligible at any point during the pandemic. In that case, you have remained eligible the entire time no matter what, even if your income later increased.  However, states will now double-check every Medicaid enrollee’s eligibility, a huge administrative task that will put health insurance coverage for millions of Americans at risk. Not everyone will be removed from the program all at once. States plan to verify all recipients’ eligibility over periods of nine months to one year.

The change is “disruptive,” said Dr. Adam Gaffney, a critical care physician at the Cambridge Health Alliance in Massachusetts who advocates for health care reform. Secretary of Health and Human Services Xavier Becerra says the Biden administration is working with states to prevent Americans from being without any health insurance. “One of the best ways to make sure they don’t, is to make sure that governors have adopted the Medicaid expansion program, which lets them cover more Americans within their Medicaid program,” Beccera said.

People with Medicaid should ensure their personal information is up-to-date, be on the lookout for Medicaid application materials in the mail or via email, and complete the renewal application by their state’s due date. People who lose Medicaid coverage will be eligible to purchase coverage under the Affordable Care Act. The termination notice should provide instructions.

Residents in Glynn County, Georgia are outraged over the brutal torture of a 19-year-old student that left him in intensive care unit on a ventilator.

The prep school students posted disturbing videos showing their gruesome acts online.

Screenshots show Trent Lehrkamp slumped over in a chair after consuming a large amount of alcohol at a friend’s house on March 21.

Trent “had spray paint all over his body and hair, with a small bruise on his left shoulder,” according to the police report. The teenagers reportedly urinated on him and defecated in his lap.

Four smiling teens are seen standing behind the chair making obscene hand gestures toward the camera.

Police tracked down 20 “minors”, but there have been no arrests.

Residents say the “minors” responsible for Trent’s torture are well-to-do children from prominent families.

“The citizens of Glynn County are mostly very good people, hardworking people,” Glynn County Interim Police Chief O’Neal Jackson III told reporters. “This is an isolated incident and don’t judge Glynn County by one group of juvenile teens.”

Jackson said Trent was dumped at the hospital with a blood alcohol level nearly six times the legal limit. He was intubated and placed on a ventilator because he was unable to breathe on his own.

Trent’s father, Mark Lehrkamp told police of two previous hazing incidents. He said his son returned from the same friend’s house on March 17 “covered in WD-40, vomit, paint, glue, egg yolk and spray paint,” an incident report shows.

A few weeks prior, Trent suffered a “severe laceration” above his left eye that needed stitches after visiting the same home, his father said.

Former president Donald Trump is expected to turn himself in following his indictment on Tuesday. Media cameras will be present, but Trump will not be placed in cuffs.

According to CNN, it is currently unclear if cameras will be allowed in the courtroom. Judge Juan Merchan will decide those rules. He allowed cameras in the courtroom for Trump Organization’s CFO Allen Weisselberg’s sentencing last year.

The courtroom where Trump will be arraigned was heavily guarded on Friday, which will continue over the weekend into Tuesday.

Trump is expected to enter a plea of not guilty, leave the courtroom, and return to Florida to continue his campaign for 2024.

Stormy Daniels, the woman paid $130,000 in hush money, leading to the eventual indictment of former president Donald Trump is speaking out.

Speaking to the British newspaper, The Times, Daniels says she is fearful of her safety but notes Trump’s indictment was “monumental” and “epic.”

Daniels revealed she received a ton of abuse after the indictment leading to her fear. “The number and the intensity is the same as it was the first time aroudn, but this time it’s straight up violent,” Daniels said.

Daniels was scheduled to interview with Piers Morgan in Britain, but it was postponed due to “security issues.”

“It’s especially scary because Trump himself is inciting violence and encouraging it,” Daniels added.

On Thursday (March 30), a Manhattan grand jury voted to indict Donald Trump on charges involving payments of “hush money” to Daniels, with whom he allegedly had an extramarital affair, and which were made in the runup to the 2016 election.

Trump has repeatedly attacked the investigation, calling it “the greatest witch hunt in history” and claiming that Bragg, who is black, is racist against white people.   Certain Republicans have repeatedly claimed Bragg to be a “George Soros-backed” prosecutor, referring to the billionaire philanthropist who Republicans frequently cite as an antisemitic dog whistle.

 Trump previously predicted that he would be indicted last Tuesday and urged his supporters to protest in response, leading to tighter security in Manhattan on light of the events of January 6.   Just yesterday, when it was reported that the grand jury would not be imminently voting to indict, he posted on Truth Social that he had “gained so much respect for this grand jury . . . that [they] are saying hold on, we’re not a rubber stamp . . . we are not going to vote against a preponderance of evidence or against large numbers of legal scholars all saying there is no case here.”

This is the first time that a former U.S. president has had criminal charges brought against him, and it will undoubtably shake up the 2024 presidential election, for which Trump has been a declared candidate for months.   A Quinnipiac University poll taken this week found that 57% of Americans believe a criminal indictment should disqualify Trump from running for president again.  This includes Democrats 8% – 9% and Independents 55% – 36%.  However, Republicans say 75% – 23% that an indictment should not disqualify him.  There is nothing that legally prevents Trump from running for president if he is indicted – or even convicted.

These results indicate that Trump’s indictment will likely do him no favors in the general election, although the Republican primaries are far less certain.  According to a number of recent polls, Trump stills holds a lead of anywhere from 14 to 30 points over his closest rival, Florida governor Ron DeSantis.  It is unknown how the indictment will affect these numbers, but at least in the short term, it is possible that Republicans will rally around Trump.  Indeed, DeSantis has declared that Florida will not assist in any extradition request for Trump.  Privately, he is probably popping champagne corks.

Tyga is the latest rapper to divulge who is the all-time greatest rapper in Hip Hop. The “Make It Nasty” rapper believes there are a bunch of categories you must have a hit to be considered the greatest. Besides being lyrical, Tyga feels the greatest rapper should have an immense impact on the culture and be able to tap into the emotions of themselves and the fans.

Last year, the California rapper sat down with Complex, and they asked him who he considers the GOAT of hip hop. Tyga responded with his two favorite rappers, Eminem and Lil Wayne.

“I’m gonna have to go with prime [Lil] Wayne and prime Eminem for me. I think those are my two favorite rappers, for sure.”

His response hasn’t changed this year, either. He took to Twitter to explain why he chose the “No Love” rappers as the greatest.

After all these years, Usher still has that effect on the ladies.  A lucky fan got to go on stage during his Las Vegas residency.  The Confessions singer fed the woman strawberries, and she fed him as well.  Many people caught it on camera, which set social media afire.  Of course, there were jokes and many women wished it was them.

Usher’s shows at his residency have been something to see.  Whether he is hitting his dance moves or singing while on rollerskates, it seems like the show is a must-see.  Recently, Queen Latifah attended one of his shows; it just happened to be her birthday.  He interrupted his show to pay homage to the “Unity” rapper and give her her flowers, literally.

Usher’s performances continue to inspire young artists today.  Rapper Lil Dicky was on Jimmy Kimmel Live! where he told the host that he remembers seeing Usher in concert.

”I see this man on stage, and I remember weeping watching him, as he would strip down into his underwear when I get shows, because of Usher.”

The “Freaky Friday” rapper also revealed that Usher would appear in season 3 of his sitcom, Dave.

If you are waiting on an indictment for former President Donald Trump, you may want to direct your attention elsewhere. A source details to CNN the Manhattan grand jury that is hearing Trump’s hush money case is scheduled to go on break beginning April 5.

The break is believed to last through most, if not all, of April. Trump originally stated he would be indicted and arrested last week.

The cause for the break includes religious holidays, school spring breaks and more. The break comes at a time the investigation seemingly was getting ready to wrap up.

Trump is being investigated for hush money to adult film star Stormy Daniels for an affair. The funds are believed to be from campaign money.

Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg, has received a threatening letter containing an unidentified white powder. The threat was discovered after former President Donald Trump hinted at “death and destruction” should Bragg bring charges against him. Bragg is investigating a hush money payment to porn star Stormy Daniels by Trump’s then-lawyer Michael Cohen shortly before the 2016 presidential election.

“ALVIN: I AM GOING TO KILL YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!” said the typewritten note in a letter contained in an envelope addressed to Bragg that appeared to be mailed from Orlando, Florida. However, according to the New York Police Department, the white powder was non-hazardous. 

Bragg sent an email to staffers Friday afternoon indicating that the powder was not hazardous. Bragg thanked staffers for their “strength and professionalism” in the face of “distressing disruptions,” including threatening emails and calls.

A DA spokeswoman said, “The D.A. has informed the office that it was immediately contained and that the NYPD Emergency Service Unit and the NYC Department of Environmental Protection determined there was no dangerous substance.”

DA Bragg has received several hundred threats in recent weeks, with several dozen of those threats being considered to harm Bragg seriously. On Friday morning, after 1 a.m., Trump suggested Bragg was “a degenerate psychopath that truly hates the USA” as he condemned the investigation and warned of the potential of violence if he is charged. Trump predicted last weekend that he would be arrested Tuesday in Bragg’s investigation, but that did not happen.

According to a source, the former president asked people to come up with a plan for how to deal with Bragg and how the Department of Justice could respond to Bragg’s “illegal” investigation of the president.

Warner Music Group has announced to its staff that they will eliminate 270 jobs. Variety obtained a memo to the company from CEO Robert Kyncl, detailing the desire of the company “to take advantage of the opportunities ahead of us, we need to make some hard choices in order to evolve.”

In the memo, Kyncl wrote, “Every decision has been made thoughtfully by our operators around the world, who considered the specific needs, skills, and priorities of each label, division, and territory, in order to set us up for long-term success.”

Details on which department or positions that they layoffs will touch are currently unannounced, but the total of the company that will be impacted is 4%.

Last year, Alabama resident, Martha Menefield, was arrested for failing to pay a trash bill.  In November, she called authorities to take her into custody as she believed she had already paid the $77 fine. Menefield was charged with failure to pay solid waste fees.  A month later, the Houston rapper shared the confusing situation on Instagram.  Many people took to the comments to share their frustrations about the arrest.  The City responded by stating Menefield had a history of this and never responded to the citation to appear in court.  Menefield remains that she never received a citation.

Trae took it upon himself to visit the Alabama resident and take her shopping.  Months later and Trae is still helping Menefield out.  He combined with BEL furniture in Alabama to provide her with beds, sofas, chairs, and dressers.  The next thing on his list is to solve Menefield’s heating and air conditioning problem, as she has neither.  He also plans to fix the foundation in her home and purchase her a vehicle.

Authorities in the Nashville area have released bodycam video and surveillance of the officers gunning down the shooter at the Covenant School. The shooter killed six people during their shooting rampage.

According to the Daily News, the shooter was identified as 28-year-old Audrey Hale, who was on the school’s second-floor firing when police arrived.

In the video, officers can be seen clearing classrooms and running into the shooter, originally being met with gunfire. In the video, Officer Rex Englebert can be seen returning fire. The suspect, Hale, was dead 15 minutes after the initial call of an active shooter.

The Metro Nashville Police Department revealed Hale drove a Honda Fit to the campus, shot out the glass of a door to gain entry, and fired at officers from a second-story window. Hale was armed with two assault weapons and one 9-millimeter pistol.

Another school shooting has rocked the United States. According to CNN, a shooting at the Covenant School in Nashville, Tennessee, has left 6 dead.

The Covenant School is a private Christian school that has students from preschool through the sixth grade. The shooter, a 28-year-old woman, was killed while exchanging fire with officers. Her identity has not yet been revealed.

Three of the dead are children, and the other three are adults. There is currently a student reunification center in place at the Woodmount Baptist Church located near the school.

Nashville mayor John Cooper issued a statement on Twitter thanking officials for their response while providing messages of support to the families impacted.

The incident is the 129th mass shooting in America this year. Mass shootings are categorized by over four people being wounded. In the aftermath of the shooting, first lady Jill Biden stated at an event in Washington D.C., “I am truly without words” and “out children deserve better.” Meanwhile, the White House asked for gun safety legislation to be passed.

“How many more children have to be murdered before Republicans in Congress will step up and act to pass the assault weapons ban, to close loopholes in our background check system, or to require the safe storage of guns? We need to do something,” White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said.

The alarming portion of his message is his call to his supporters to “Protest, take our nation back.” The words are similar to those used ahead of the Insurrection at the Nation’s capitol. New York City is now preparing for any clashes that could happen in the city, if Trump is indeed arrested.

According to CNN, Trump believes his base being charged up would help him politically. He also sees a positive in the indictment.

A spokesperson for Trump revealed that the former president didn’t receive any indication that he would be arrested. Instead, he was “rightfully highlighting his innocence.”

Rudolph Isley, one of the members of the legendary Isley Brothers, is suing his brother Ronald for filing a trademark registration for the Isley Brothers solely under his name. 

Rudolph claims that even though the name “The Isley Brothers” is  owned by both of them, Ronald alone filed for a federal trademark of the name in 2021. The United States Patent and Trademark Office approved Ronald Isley’s registration for sole ownership of the Isley Brothers brand in August.

Rudolph is claiming that despite the name “The Isley Brothers” being jointly owned by both, Ronald filed for a federal trademark of the name in 2021 by himself. In their claim, Rudolph’s legal team states “The Isley Brothers” trademark is “jointly owned” by both him and Ronald “equally”. Furthermore, they are asking the judge to require Ronald to pay him his “share of all proceeds” earned from it.

It appears that a separate fight for money has also begun. “Upon information and belief, [Ronald Isley] has within the past year offered goods and services in commerce to the public under the [trademark] within this judicial district and in other locations, without the authorization or approval of [Rudolph Isley], and has failed to account to or make payment to [Rudolph Isley] in connection with such exploitation of the [trademark],” the court filing reads.

Rudolph stopped working with the group in 1986. Based off of this information, Ronald’s team argues that “the owner of a trademark is the person … who is actually and actively using the mark in commerce during or near the time of registration,” They further claim that Rudolph Isley no longer qualifies for partial ownership of the band name.

“Rudolph is unaware of the degree to which Ronald exploited the Mark, the licenses and/or other transactions that Ronald entered into for the use of the Mark, or the revenue Ronald garnered through such exploitation,” the suit stated. As a result, Rudolph is asking that his brother “account for and pay over” his “rightful 50 percent share of all results and proceeds of the past exploitation of the Mark.

Former President Donald Trump is once again calling for his base of supporters to ride for him. Over the weekend, Trump announced online that he expects to be arrested on Tuesday (March 21) for paying hush money to adult star Stormy Daniels.

Trump spoke to his supporters, writing the “leading Republican candidate and former president of the United States will be arrested on Tuesday of next week.” Trump did not add a reason for the arrest.

The alarming portion of his message is his call to his supporters to “Protest, take our nation back.” The words are similar to those used ahead of the Insurrection at the Nation’s capitol. New York City is now preparing for any clashes that could happen in the city, if Trump is indeed arrested.

According to CNN, Trump believes his base being charged up would help him politically. He also sees a positive in the indictment.

A spokesperson for Trump revealed that the former president didn’t receive any indication that he would be arrested. Instead, he was “rightfully highlighting his innocence.”

Bronx rapper Nas EBK has been arrested for the murder of a 22-year-old in Times Square.

According to AMNY, the murder happened last month, killing Idressa Siby. Nas, born Nasir Valenzua, is 18 years old and was picked up in New Jersey before being transported back to Midtown, Manhattan.

Authorities state Nas was in an argument with Siby at 44th street and 8th Avenue in Times Square before he shot Nas shot Siby in the right side of the chest. Siby would attempt to run, making it just a block where he collapsed in front of a Chic-Fil-A. He died at Mt. Sinai West.

Siby and Nas were connected by authorities, with the latter being identified as a drill rapper. Nas EBK has been charged with second-degree murder.

The rapper posted a picture on Nas EBK’s Instagram page stating “INNOCENT!!” In the caption, “ONLY GOD CAN JUDGE ME !!! BE HOME SOON !! FREE DA GUYS !!”

Latavia “Tay”McGee, a mother of six, traveled with three other U.S.citizens to Matamoros for a tummy tuck procedure and was kidnapped after an attack by multiple gunmen. On Tuesday, Mexican and U.S. officials said two of the four U.S. citizens were found dead and two are alive.

Mexico’s security secretary identified the surviving Americans as Latavia “Tay” McGee and Eric James Williams. The other two Americans were identified as Zindell Brown and Shaeed Woodard.

Barbara Burgess, 54, confirmed to ABC15 News that her daughter spoke to her from a Brownsville, Texas hospital.

“She’s alive. I talked to her. I talked to her. The nurse at the hospital called and let me talk to her,” said Burgess.

“She was crying. I asked her how she was doing. She doing okay. She was crying because her brother got killed and she watched him die. She watched two of them die. They died in front of her.”

McGee and Eric James Williams survived their 4-day ordeal after they were kidnapped at gunpoint by cartel members in Matamoros, Mexico on March 3.

They were rescued from a stash house around 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday. McGee, 33, was unharmed, but Williams was shot in the left leg.

McGee’s cousin Shaeed Woodard, 33, and Zindell Brown, 28, were found dead in a field nearby. Burgess thanked the public for their prayers and support.

“I appreciated their prayers. I thank them for praying because that’s what I had needed. Prayer, it will change things. It works out. And prayer, you believe in it and it’ll work. It did it for me. Because I was praying for my daughter. And I know she was coming home. I knew it. I didn’t know when and what time. But, I knew she was coming.”

The shootouts in Matamoros were allegedly so bad that the U.S. Consulate issued an alert about the danger Friday.

Former president Donald Trump was on hand at the Conservative Political Action Conference and was laying more ground for his 2024 campaign. Trump revealed to the crowd that any potential criminal investigations would not shut down his campaign.

“I wouldn’t even think about leaving,” Trump said about a possible indictment.

According to ABC News, he added, “Probably it will enhance my numbers.”

Trump is still being investigated for his handling of government documents and his role in the Jan. 6 capitol riots. Insider notes a special grand jury in Georgia is preparing multiple indictment recommendations for individuals who interfered with the 2020 election. Trump is rumored to be a possible name.

Still, Trump sees his coming campaign as a triumphant moment for his base.

“Today, I add, I am your warrior, I am your justice, and for those who have been wronged and betrayed, I am your retribution,” he said.

Chaos erupted at GloRilla and Finesse2Tymes concert in Rochester, New York. According to ABC7NY, concertgoers rushed the exit after they believed they heard gunshots, leading to one person killed and several more injured. There is no evidence of a shooting.

In addition to the person who died, two more are in critical condition with life-threatening injuries. NBC notes six people were transported to hospitals by private vehicles. The dead person is a 33-year-old woman.

Numerous people have been detained after violence erupted between police and protestors at Atlanta’s Public Safety Training Facility. The building is referred to as “Cop City” by locals.

According to Fox 5, 35 protestors were detained at the Dekalb County construction site that had multiple fires burning.

Local authorities state protestors left ht nearby South River Music Festival, changed into black clothes, and entered the site to start the attack.

The mob of people fired fireworks at the officers, while also hurling rocks and Molotov cocktails. A car was engulfed in flames, and protestors attempted to fire other construction equipment.

“This was a very violent attack that occurred, this evening very violent attack,” Atlanta Police Chief Darin Schierbaum said.

Protestors stated there would be a “week of action” at the site, prompting more patrols to the area.

Georgia governor Brian Kemp stated the activists were “violent” and had “radical intent behind their actions.”

Following speculation on the pandemic’s origins, China said it has been  “open and transparent” with information it has obtained. 

Three years and over 6.8 million deaths later, concerns on how the worldwide virus emerged are at an all time high. 

Most recently, the U.S. Department of Energy  assessed with “low confidence” that the pandemic that was first detected in the central Chinese city of Wuhan in late 2019 began with the leak of a virus from a lab. This report remains sealed to the public. 

In defense of the accusations against China,  Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning Mao told reporters at a daily briefing that China has “shared the most data and research results on virus tracing and made important contributions to global virus tracing research.”

Mao added, “Politicizing the issue of virus tracing will not smear China but will only damage the U.S.’s own credibility,” opposing complaints from U.S. officials and members of Congress that China has not been fully cooperative. 

Still, not all opinions sway in favor of the United States. Members of the U.S. intelligence community disagree with the U.S. Energy Department assessment of the lab leak, specifying 

differing opinions within the government. On Monday, John Kirby, the spokesman for the National Security Council, said “There is just not an intelligence community consensus.” 

The DOE, which oversees a national network of U.S. labs,  concluded that the classified report was based on newly acquired intelligence and noted in an update to a 2021 document, according to the first reports made by the Wall Street Journal. 

Requests for comment made to White House officials by numerous sources to confirm the press report assessments have been declined. The last report, made in 2021, said four members of the U.S. intelligence community believed with low confidence that the virus was first transmitted from an animal to a human, and a fifth believed with moderate confidence that the first human infection was linked to a lab. The quest to find more information is ongoing.

Hong Kong model Abby Choi went missing on Tuesday, according to Hong Kong police. The following gruesome timeline occurred: on Friday, authorities found her dismembered body in a refrigerator in a house rented by Kwong Kau in Lung Mei Tsuen, in a suburban part of Hong Kong. On Sunday, authorities discovered a young woman’s skull, several ribs, and hair believed to be Choi’s in a large stainless steel cooking pot seized from that same house. A meat slicer and an electric saw were also found at the home. 

Shortly after the discovery, Choi’s ex-husband Alex Kwong and his parents were taken into custody on a joint murder charge and held without bail. Kwong, his brother, and his father were charged with murdering Kong, and his mother, Jenny Li, was charged with “perverting the course of justice” or trying to stop the police from learning facts about the case.  

According to police, Choi had mishandled her financial assets and had ongoing disputes with her ex-husband and his family surrounding tens of millions of dollars. The citizens of Hong Kong have been in complete shock following the news of Choi’s murder. Her case is one of the most shocking killings Hong Kong had seen since 2013, when a man killed his parents, and their heads were later found in refrigerators. In another famous 1999 case, three members of an organized crime group kidnapped and tortured a woman before her death. Her skull was later found stuffed in a Hello Kitty doll.

Abby Choi was an influencer and model with over 100,000 followers on Instagram. The case has been adjourned to May 8.

A video showcasing an attack on a Florida high school employee has led to the arrest of a 17 year-old student. The attack was initiated after the employee took the students’ Nintendo Switch device away, according to the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office.

The Matanzas High School student has been charged with felony aggravated battery with bodily harm, the sheriff’s office said in a press release. 

Following the Palm Coast incident on February 21st, the student was taken into custody and brought to the  Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility. He was later turned over to the  state Department of Juvenile Justice, for “becoming violent” while speaking to them after the incident.

The arrest report describes the teens motives for attack stating that he would “beat her up” every time she took away his game. Joan Naydich has been identified as the employee that underwent the attack, confirmed by her husband Alexander Naydich. 

Details of the attack can be deciphered from a surveillance video of the student. The sheriff’s office has released a description of the student saying he stands 6 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs around 270 pounds. He runs toward Naydich and knocks her to the ground. The employee is seen lying motionless as the student punches and kicks her repeatedly before bystanders pull him off of her. Naydich was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

Sheriff  Rick Staly said in the release, “The actions of this student are absolutely horrendous and completely uncalled-for. We hope the victim will be able to recover, both mentally and physically, from this incident. Thankfully, students and staff members came to the victim’s aid before the [school resource deputies] could arrive. Our schools should be a safe place – for both employees and students.”

Flagler County Schools on Saturday reported that out of respect for their employee’s privacy, they are withholding commentary on her medical condition at this time.

Dilbert cartoonist Scott Adams calls Black people a hate group and urges white people to ‘get the hell away from them. Since the video went viral Dilbert has been dropped by more than 200 newspapers.

To name a few—The Los Angeles Times, The San Antonio Express-News, The USA Today Network, and The Plain Dealer in Cleveland have all cut ties with the cartoonist. “This is a decision based on the principles of this news organization and the community we serve,” Plain Dealer Editor Chris Quinn wrote. ”We are not a home for those who espouse racism. We certainly do not want to provide them with financial support.”

Adams experienced possibly the biggest repercussion of his recent comments about race when distributor Andrews McMeel Universal announced Sunday, Feb. 26 it would no longer work with the cartoonist. In an episode of his YouTube show last week, Adams described people who are Black as members of “a hate group” from which white people should “get away.” Various media publishers across the U.S. denounced the comments while saying they would no longer provide a platform for his work.

Andrews McMeel Chairman Hugh Andrews and CEO and President Andy Sareyan said in a joint statement that the syndication company was “severing our relationship” with Adams.

“We are proud to promote and share many different voices and perspectives. But we will never support any commentary rooted in discrimination or hate,” they said in the statement posted on the company website and Twitter.

The creator of the long-running comic that pokes fun at office-place culture defended himself on social media against those whom he said “hate me and are canceling me.”

The backlash against Adams arose following comments on “Real Coffee with Scott Adams.” Among other topics, Adams used the YouTube show to reference a Rasmussen Reports survey that had asked whether people agreed with the statement “It’s OK to be white.”

Adams, who is white, repeatedly referred to people who are Black as members of a “hate group” or a “racist hate group” and said he would no longer “help Black Americans.”

“Based on the current way things are going, the best advice I would give to white people is to get the hell away from Black people,” Adams said on his Wednesday show.

In another episode of his online show Saturday, Adams said he had been making a point that “everyone should be treated as an individual” without discrimination.

R. Kelly wasn’t the only one sentenced on Thursday. Disgraced film executive Harvey Weinstein was sentenced to 16 years in prison for rape and sex crimes.

According to Deadline, the currently incarcerated exec was on hand at the Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center courtroom in Los Angeles as the ruling tacked on more years to the 23 years he was already serving for a March 2020 case of more rape and sex crimes. The sentences will run consecutively.

During the court proceedings, Weinstein spoke, maintaining his innocence.

“I maintain that I’m innocent,” he said. “I never raped or sexually assaulted Jane Doe #1. I never knew this woman, and the fact is she doesn’t know me. This is about money.”

He added, “Please don’t sentence me to life in prison. I don’t deserve it. There are so many things wrong with this case.”

Jane Doe submitted a statement to the courts:

“Ten years later, the effects of this rape are still raw and difficult to discuss. Your honor I hope you can understand my suffering. There is no prison sentence long enough to undo the damage. I hope that you give him the maximum sentence allowable.”

A shooting spree began in Pine Hills late Wednesday morning inside a vehicle when Keith Melvin Moses murdered a woman he was acquainted with, according to Orange County Sheriff John Mina. The victim has been identified as 28 year-old Natacha Augustin. 

Mina reported that two further victims, 24 year-old journalist Dylan Lyons and a photographer, showed up at the scene to cover the slaying for Spectrum 13 News when Moses returned and opened fire. Lyons was killed and the photographer is currently in critical condition.  

WESH correspondent Luana Munoz was doing a live shot outside an Orlando hospital Wednesday night when she received the news that her colleague had been shot and was one of 3 victims fatally shot in the savage attacks that left 2 others critically wounded. 

Munoz opened her report in distress as she wiped tears from her eyes. She said, “I apologize. This is really difficult to cover. This is every reporter’s absolutely worst nightmare. We go home at night afraid that something like this will occur and that is what happened here… So again we are at Orlando Regional Medical Center where we have learned that one of our own, a fellow reporter, has died while out covering a shooting. There are members of his family here along with his fiancée who are just incredibly distraught tonight.”

After returning to the scene, Moses continued his violent spree. He allegedly slipped inside a home nearby and shot a mother and her 9-year-old daughter. The mother was critically injured. Her daughter died.

Police surrounded the neighborhood and arrested Moses– carrying the discernable murder weapon– not far from the location of the shootings. He has since been charged with murder and additional charges are pending. Investigators have not identified a motive, but suspect that Moses had no connection to the journalists, the mother and her daughter.

The family of Malcolm X has aligned with civil rights attorney Benjamin Crump and announced a lawsuit against the New York City Police Department and other government agencies. The suit alleges the entities covered up information related to Malcolm X’s murder.

According to CBS News, Crump and two of Malcolm X’s daughters, Qubilah Shabazz and Ilyasah Shabazz, held a news conference to provide “formal notice” to New York City, New York state, the district attorney’s office, the FBI, CIA, and other law enforcement agencies.

The $100 million lawsuit alleges the named “had factual evidence and exculpatory evidence that they fraudulently concealed from the men who were wrongfully convicted for the assassination of Malcolm X.”

In 2021 two of the three men convicted for Malcolm X’s murder were exonerated. A following investigation revealed Muhammad A. Aziz and the late Khalil Islam were wrongfully convicted. Mujahid Abdul Halim admitted to his part in the shooting and denied the other two men were involved.

During the Tuesday presser, crump questioned the actions of the government.

“The rhetorical question is this: if the government compensated the two gentlemen that were wrongfully convicted for the assassination of Malcolm X with tens of millions of dollars, then what is to be the compensation for the daughters who suffered the most from the assassination of Malcolm X?”

Crump added, “We intend to have vigorous litigation of this matter, to have discovery, to be able to take depositions of the individuals who are still alive, 58 years later, to make sure that some measure of justice can be given to Malcolm X’s daughters.”

Malcolm X was assassinated on Feb. 21, 1965, shot 21 times as he was about to speak during a civil rights event at the Audubon Ballroom in NYC. X’s daughters connected with crump after a former officer, Raymond Wood, wrote a death letter stating he “participated in actions that in hindsight were deplorable and detrimental to the advancement of my own black people” during his patrol on the day of Malcolm X’s assassination.

A Minnesota woman has been sentenced to life in prison for killing her six-year-old son without the possibility of parole.

Julissa Thaler, 28, was arrested last year in Minnesota when someone called the police and reported that she was driving her vehicle with a shattered rear window and a blown-out tire. When they conducted a traffic stop, police found that Thaler had flesh pieces on her and blood in her car. She claimed the blood was from a tampon, and the flesh was from a deer she had purchased from a butcher. Sadly, her six-year-old son’s body was found in the trunk of that car. Two months ago, a jury found her guilty and convicted her of first and second-degree murder. Prosecutors said that Thaler used a shotgun to shoot Eli Hart nine times.

During her sentencing, Thaler’s family revealed that Thaler and Tory Hart, her now deceased son’s father, had just undergone a custody battle, where Thaler was awarded custody just ten days prior. Following her sentencing, Hart filed a wrongful death suit against the Dakota County employees who gave Thaler custody. That case is scheduled for trial in 2024.

“Everyone knows Eli Hart as the victim of this senseless and horrific crime. But Eli was so much more,” said Josephine Josephson, Tory Hart’s partner. “Eli was an amazing 6-year-old boy who always woke up full of energy and laughter.”

While reading the sentence, Judge Quam said: “The worst thing that seems to happen to parents is to lose their child. It’s worse, though, when you don’t lose your child to something like cancer or an accident, it’s when someone takes that child from the world. What I can’t imagine, nobody can imagine, is that the person that takes the child from the world is the person that brought that child in. Nothing I do would bring justice to this situation. Nothing I do would relieve any of the pain that you caused by doing that.”

When Thaler was asked if she wanted to address the court, she agreed and said, “I’m innocent. F*** you all. You’re garbage. That is all, your honor,”

The fatal shooting video of 39-year-old Leevon Smith by an off-duty officer was released by COPA Chicago as part of an ongoing investigation. In the shocking footage, Smith is seen fighting with a group of men who accused him of robbing someone in the 1300 block of West 90th Street.

The off-duty officer emerged from her apartment building to break up the fight. One of the men identified her as “the po-lice. The officer calmly spoke with the men and even stood between the angry men and Smith.

After the group walked away, the officer patiently listened to Smith as he told his side of the story. When she turned to go back inside the building, Smith grabbed her.

“I’ll Kill you,” the officer said, as the two struggled. “You got to kill me then,” Smith told her.

“Watch this,” she said, as she pulled out a gun and fired a shot.

“Oh, sh*t!” Smith yelled. “I’m sorry!”

“I told you I’d kill you. I told your dumb ass I’d kill you,” she said, as another gunshot rang out.

“You got me! You got me!” Smith told the officer as the two struggled off camera.

“I told your dumb ass I’d kill you,” the officer said, as she fired a third shot.

“You got me for real,” Smith told her. “Baby, I’m sorry. I’m sorry… I don’t want to die!”

The officer yelled for someone to call 911.

“Call the police. I just shot somebody,” she yelled.

Smith suffered gunshot wounds to the abdomen and hand. He was transported to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead on Jan. 20.

The officer told responding cops that the shooting happened when Smith reached for her gun.

Smith’s family filed a $10 million lawsuit against the city on Feb. 3, citing “excessive and violent physical force.”

The officer was not named in the lawsuit. She joined the police force last June.
