The record in question is a sombre and reflective record that details LanrayX’s heartbreak after being cheated on by the love of his life.
Bolstered by Teck-Zilla’s solemn piano riffs, melancholic synth phrases and sparsely arranged Afrocentric percussions and grooves, Lanray X pours his heart on wax as he tries to ease the pain stemming from a tumultuous heartbreak. His verses explore the events that led up to the painful event while Lxnda’s emotional hook adds a gut-wrenching oomph to the record.

The visual directed by Levi Freeman is as cinematic as they come and the director taps into the theme by bringing Lanray’s heartfelt lyrics to the screen with a picturesque video layered with subtle motifs and a seamless storyline. The visual also captures Lanray in his element as he reminisces about the various moments that led to the break up with his cheating ex who dons a sexy red outfit that aligns with the deep red set pieces.
On the other hand, singer LxNDa plays the role of Lanray’s soul crying out to her to reconsider her actions to no avail and at the end of it all, it came to a screeching halt as Lanray gets served a healthy plate of karma.
